03/22/25 Paid $54.80 for an oil change. They committed to provide an oil change only and thats all I asked for. I specifically stated not to touch the air pressure on the tires since they always over inflate or under inflate them. The nature of this dispute is that they did a multi level inspection with the oil change when I told them not to and they purposefully left the brake fluid Cap off since they were jealous that I didnt get it serviced there as they tried to tell me squeaking of the brakes is normal when its not. And the squeaking was bad. The shop gives bad advice and left the brake fluid cap off and it wasnt until I got a chance and pulled off to the side of the road that I heard a weird noise coming from the hood and the car running weird that that was the issue. The business has not tried to resolve it one bit. I brought it up to the assistant manager ***** who I also had to tell him to tell his mechanics if they can take off the splash shield off once and it wasnt until I noticed it that it was still on when they serviced the car one time that I had to go back and request the mechanics myself for them to take it off. Then the next service they messed with the tire pressure and overinflated the air pressure when it requires for 32psi not 35 and above. Then this most recent one they left the brake fluid cap off. They deserve to be exposed for negligence of customers vehicles and lose business trust and lose customers because I will not deal with them and tolerate their ***** games with them any longer. Theyre supposed to be responsible for taking care of their customers and build trust but they do the opposite and its time they get exposed for the multiple red flags I brought up. They need to do a repair for free and let me watch how they work so they dont s**** with anything on the car.

On March ******* Mr. ***** brought in the Accord for the oil change service promotion we had advertised online. The ************* change promotion included the tire rotation, oil and filter and a complimentary brake inspection. Mr ***** was adamant about not touching the air pressure in the tires so our service writer made a note on the invoice for our crew to leave the air pressure in the tires as is. Upon opening the hood of he vehicle we noticed the brake master cylinder cap was not installed and was sitting on a flat surface close by. Our service writer promptly brought this to Mr ******* attention. At this time Mr ***** stated he had just recently had the brakes replaced. ***** let Mr ***** know we would not be placing the cap back on the master and that Mr ***** could do it or take it back to the shop or person that recently did the brake repairs. The final invoice has a notation " Brake reservoir missing cap prior".  No brake recommendations were made. The brand/quality of the brake pad can cause brake squeaking. This was conveyed to Mr ***** as we let him know the brake pad life was good. When vehicles get to our shop in most cases the temperature of the tires is a little higher than when you would typically set the tire pressure. In most cases a vehicle asking for 32psi cold, would hold a pressure of 34psi-37psi once they have been driven to the shop and dropping the pressure to 32psi at this type would normally create an issue the next morning when the vehicle takes its initial pressure reading. Again Mr ***** didn't calculate for this which doesn't normally bother us and we can leave the pressure as is if the customer requests. To lodge this complaint is not only a waste of time but a cheap shot at a business that has been in existence for nearly 35 years in this community. Absolutely no offer was made to Mr ***** and I spoke to him on the phone last week and conveyed this exact response.

***** said the brake cap was left off before service, & they put it back on. I replied, huh, thats weird, because I had it replaced during my previous brake service. While they claim not to mess with fluids, their oil changes usually include tire rotation, inflating tires, & checking fluidsso this contradicts their claim. I spoke w/ **** but wasnt satisfied w/the outcome. Previously, I had a splash shield falling apart. I asked ***** if he could tell the mechanics to remove it while the car was already lifted for the oil change. He failed to do so, & I had to come back frustrated & ask the mechanics myself. ***** also dismissed my brake issue by blaming cold weather for squeaking, even though thats not normal in the mild SoCal desert winter. I ended up getting the brakes replaced elsewhere b/c the car clearly needed it. On more than 1 occasion, they overinflated my tires. I asked them to stop adjusting the pressure since I can manage it myself. They did on my 2nd visit. The 3rd visit finally they didnt mess with the pressure at all. They also failed to recalibrate the **** sensor, which caused the warning light to come on. The most recent visit, again, ***** said the brake cap was off & they put it back on. This calls into question the 35 years of integrity, especially since I was in the shop waitingwhy didnt anyone notify me when I was outside the shop near my car watching them work? Given the 3 recurring red flags: the splash shield not being removed during the 1st request despite the request to *****, the tire pressure issues & with no recalibration, & the brake cap being left off w/o communicating  w/customer during service. I requested a refund from ****. He declined, but I believe these mistakesalthough minor individuallycreate very much safety concerns and warrant compensation. I deserve a refund & wont be satisfied until this is resolved professionally. This pattern of carelessness needs to be addressed if Im to trust them w/my car again.

No compensation is or will be offered. The invoice that Mr ***** signed clearly has a notation the brake master cylinder cap was not on prior to our service. he was advised on premises, given a written notice and had the brakes done at another facility prior to coming to our store (which I might add was not information we would have known about had the conversation about the cap not been brought up) Asking for the air pressure to not be touched was recognized and applied. Our stance is clear and we conveyed the issue to the customer. If Mr ***** does not return with his vehicles we are comfortable with that decision.
