    My husband *************************** passed away 12/22/21. Before his passing, ****** decided that we would transfer the title of his ****, Chevrolet, Avalanche (****) truck (red), to our grandson, *****************************. I have never had a driver's license, & never owned a ******** **** husband ******* drove me everywhere I needed to go. After his passing I had my grandson, ****, drive us to a *** location in *****, ** where we transferred the title for the truck into his name. My husband had created the *** membership #************* & I was an additional person on that membership. The battery in the truck was dead & I called *** & ordered a battery replacement on 01/18/22. *** Roadside Assistance sent a battery technician from C&D Towing Specialists. He was a white male. My ************ dont know much about cars, so we verified the battery technician's work to the best of our ability & started the truck & went on about our lives. My grandson began having issues with the truck stopping on him a year later. The red battery light would come on the dashboard, after the truck stopped mid-drive on the 60 fwy. He pulled over & fiddled with the battery & noticed the technician had removed the rubber mount that held the old battery in place & the positive terminal touched the metal under the hood & melted it onto the battery bolt. He called *** roadside assistance & representative he spoke with verified that the towing company had installed the wrong battery in the truck. My *** membership had expired by that time, since I dont drive, my grandson had an active *** membership & neither *** or C&D Towing would take responsibility for the incorrect installation. My grandson took the truck to a mechanic & the mechanic also verified that the *** battery that is currently in the truck is indeed the wrong one & it could potentially cause an electrical fire because the technician from C&D Towing removed the battery security mount & didn't replace it. We need them to be accountable for their mistake
