    On 5/20/25 I took my dog to Sunnymead Veterinary Clinic for a leg injury, and the substitute vet ******** ****** and her team's incompetence nearly cost my dog her life. They gave her a sedative for X-rays, leaving her in a kennel panting heavily with a blue tongue- a clear sign of distress. Shockingly, the oxygen mask they used for 20 minutes wasn't even providing air until I pointed it out. Their attempt at an IV was botched, jabbing her 4 times, causing her to panic further. I had to rush her to an ** to save her life. The next day, I spoke to the clinic manager ****** to request a refund for the ** bill they caused. She promised to follow up within a week but never did. I called multiple times, but she was always unavailable, only returning my call two weeks later. She offered only a partial refund for their services and refused to cover the ** bill. I have tried to call her back for a better explanation on how the decision for the refund was made but ****** is never available, they always say she is in a meeting or out to lunch but never returns my call back. I drove to the clinic as ****** is clearly avoiding me and they said she was out to lunch and would return in 2 1/2 hours. Avoid this clinic- your pet deserves better cate and accountability. ****** ********, Chief ***** Officer, ********* (***)
