My mom and I attended a wine tour with this company on April 12. I paid $156.80 for the tour and a $50 gratuity (which was charged before the tour began). My mother was ill on the tour, and the tour did not utilize ordinary care to ensure her safety. We drank the exact same amount of wine as everyone else (we had 10/15 tastings before the incident occurred); no additional risk was added by our behavior. We acted within the plan for the tour, unfortunately leading to my mothers illness. The staff responded by informing me about how wasted they got the other day, before promptly leaving. They charged me an additional $150 cleaning fee before leaving my mom and I behind on the property. I was left in tears, with no transportation, to deal with the situation by myself (thanks to the assistance of kind people who were not employed by Uncorked). Uncorked was not present for any cleaning and did not incur any additional charges or labor costs. We were left in a dangerous situation, without the standard of ordinary care taken by the employees. The tour also did not provide the total services I purchased including transportation, snacks, or the total number of photos I purchased. On multiple occasions staff of Uncorked claimed they couldnt find us in a closed room to provide us the appetizers we purchased with the tour, leading to additional liability caused by staff in addition to multiple instances of no service rendered. The employees also encouraged us to drink faster encouraging a dangerous, stressful environment. The tour guides refused to return to the property to pick us up despite being contacted by the winery. They told us to take a ride share, which the property informed us was not possible. It took 4+ hours to secure a way home with the help of the property. When I called the company to seek a resolution, the manager Chealsea called us irresponsible, blamed my mother for the behavior of her staff, and hung up on me mid sentence.
