    Paid them $3500 for a new stereo for my truck asked for a refund within 72 hours do not have the refund and I do not have the merchandise

    Attached is the estimate provided to ***********************. As stated in the estimate "I understand Tint World is not responsible for parts, accessories, and/or equipment not purchased by a Tint World location and that there are no refunds on deposits, and/or any items purchased or installed by Tint World." 

    Also, he authorized payment over the phone, which is in the attached document. This document also provides the dates of when the system was ordered and when he asked for it to be canceled.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    lied about when item was going to be delivered. was told 2-3weeks then i canceled order then said it was ready to ship. had time to cancel and did not. i have no item i paid for still. will be taking to court.

    Customer had requested a rush order on this product when ordered. The normal time frame to receive the product would have been 2-3 weeks. When ************************ asked for expedited shipping on the radio we complied and asked our distributor for the expediated option. I, ******************* spoke with the customer ********************** and let him know that we don't offer refunds but would be more then happy to put a store credit on his Tint World account so he can use it for a future purchase. As shown on our estimate that we don't offer refunds.

    On Tuesday December 13th 2022 I hired Tint World to do $4,000 worth of work on my Vehicle. I was originally quoted 2-3 days for my vehicle to be ready. On the 16th I was called by Tint World's Employee ***** ******* and was told that the vehicle would not be ready until the 17th. The reasoning he gave to me was because the cold weather was slowing down the healing process on the paint. The next day he gave me another call back and informed me that the film for the hood was factory flawed and they needed time until Monday. I asked during this call if everything else was done (Interior and Exterior Lighting I also paid for) and was told yes. On December 19th at 5pm I gave Tint World a call since I had not heard from them all day. This time I spoke to a gentlemen named ****, who told me they needed 3 more hours because they were working on wiring. They close at 6pm, which meant I had to wait until tomorrow to pick up my vehicle. I told him I was guaranteed Monday for the vehicle to be ready and that I needed my car back today. He informed me that they would stay open late so that I can have the vehicle back and ready to go. 6:30pm comes and I am told that they need more time. I explained that ***** originally quoted me 2-3 days for my vehicle to be done and that the reasonings kept changing and that I needed my vehicle to be done after waiting 7 business days. He told me it would be ready as soon as possible. On December 20th I went to Tint World to pickup my vehicle at 6pm. When I arrived ***** ******* informed me that the App he uses for the lighting was malfunctioning. I was told that it would be ready the next day. On Wednesday December 21st I went back to pick up my vehicle and everything seemed to appear okay, until I noticed the lights were not properly working. I had a business trip to attend so I took my vehicle. Ever since that day I have been waiting to return my vehicle and making numerous phone calls to return my vehicle to get it properly fixed.

    Its ***** at Tint World in Murrieta following up from our phone conversation with this email you requested.

     

    I have had the pleasure of working with Seth Sanchez and providing customization to his vehicle.  We have had positive conversations and currently have his vehicle scheduled on the calendar to complete this upcoming week.

     

    During the initial installations we did incur delays from paint along with manufacture defect products.  I followed up with Seth as I received information from manufactures.  Many manufactures had full staff holiday closures from Christmas Eve-New Years Day.  All of this is behind us and we are excited to complete the installation with the supplied lighting we ordered from the manufacture in Louisiana.

     

    As a person, I was empathetic to the unforeseen delays created by blemished material and the unannounced lighting app change. While awaiting product/info our team cleaned, decontaminated, polished and ceramic coated Seth’s Civic with 9h Hardness & 5 year warrantied material at no charge (Valued at $1,299.99.)  We are here to provide the best overall experience and look forward to installation completion next week.
