    Good afternoon,I am reaching out to you guys In favor of my mother ***********************, she speaks broken English and can't write it either.My mother went to this business for some cabinet work, she walked into the business and saw a display model that they were selling, he told her if she paid $350 he would come to the house for measurements to see if it would fit and take that deposit off the total cost. He called her and said "good news, it fits let me make you some designs". *****/***** made my mother 2-4 designs, by the 2nd month (November) my mother asked if he can install it by Thanksgiving, he replied with "No I have too much work", she then offered an extra 30 days for an install, he agreed. My mother went to follow up with him the 1st week of December and the employee told my mom "that he had bad news, another employee by the name of *****/******* had sold the display" he then offered my mom a new kitchen set up saying "the one you wanted was an older model and I can give you an even better price" my mom replied with "no thank you" he rebudled with "if you bring me $9k CASH I'll have the new kitchen installed in no time" my mom replied with "if you sold my kitchen after I gave you $350 what will you do to me after I give you the $9k cash?, I'll pay it with my credit card instead" he said no to her that he wanted the cash, and offered to accept her card but would charge her $600 extra ontop of the total price. My mother then lost trust in the company and wanted her money back and he refused to give her the money back because "I worked too hard taking measurements and making you designs" then threatened my mom to go to court if she took any actions towards the company. When my mom called their bluff on court he then offered to return half of the $350. My mom filed for a dispute with her credit card company (he didn't charge her extra for the $350) which she lost due to citi bank wanting her to write a dispute in English, but the bank part is a diffrent issue.

    We are writing you to respond to the complaint #******** ***** ******
     
     
    The Cabinetx Corporation has been in Business for 11 years with no complaints from the BBB the reason why is we treat all our customers with integrity.
     
    ***** was trying to get more than she agreed too for free. She was really difficult and very dishonest. When Her son who we never met wrote the complaint to the BBB on 02/21/2024 knowing they already received the money. They said they didn't get there money back, that was a lie. This complaint that ***** ******** son ******* ****** wrote is a complete Fabrication of the truth a lie. The truth is they did receive the money.  In this email is attached the proof that the money was returned on 01/02/24 from square Inc. credit card processing. There is still a balance owed to Cabinetx for 350.00 from ***** ****** for the Kitchen Designs she did receive.  .  We accept all forms of payment.
