    On April 28, 2025 I hired Happy House Movers to move my home. Upon unpacking and getting my home set up I noticed damage to my Queen bed Platform. When I reached out to the manager he told me to unplug it and plug it back in. The requested pictures. I supplied photos and a video of the damage. He has yet to respond to me about any monetary adjustment for this damage. I also have to pay for Technician to come and make sure there's no mechanical damage because it makes a strange sound.

    Sorry , I see the pictures , one is dirty , I do not think we did that , cause we will shrink warp it before we move , Thats not the parts we broken  , the mattress cover is not broken , the inside of the mattress is broken I do not think thats what we did , I can give u $150 for repair if that makes u happy , we can not cover $300 , cause your move we already come 2 times , I paid a lot labor to move for u , did not charge u for the second time ,

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    Just so it is documented the damaged was caused by the movers because it was dragged. That hole was not there nor the tears in the cover.

    Preface I am single mother; anticipated using a moving company would make the transition easier. Instead, it made the move much more strenuous. They were 20mins late with no call or update. **** communicated they had plenty of moving material to cover my belongings, ensure a safe transport & would put down runners as the carpets were shampooed. They slide my babys crib across the hardwood floor, leaving scuff marks. I had to ask them to wrap a fairly expensive painting that was about to be put in the truck without any protective material. And to place runners on the carpets. The worst, they packed things so tightly in the living room that I couldnt get through the boxes to use the kitchen and make my daughter a bottle. They also left ********* babies belongings strewn on the balcony. Putting my patio furniture on top of items & damaging them. Leaving my babies lounge chair unwrapped & picture frames with our photos piled outside. I gave specific instructions on what to do during the unloading. Tonys excuse was that his movers dont speak English, used an app to translate. In addition, some of my belongings are missing. I have been unable to locate one of the shelving units that sit in my tv stand. There's a complete disregard for ********* daughters belongings that Ive worked hard for. Instead of being able to help my baby adjust to our new surroundings, I had to move our stuff into our home at 10:30 at night from our balcony after she was down. ****, stated there was no room to put the additional items in the home and thats not their problem. There was more than enough space to accommodate the items that were outside. I was told that the move was taking longer than expected & thats why they placed my belongings as such. I paid for **************** with tips required & included bill. I expressed my frustration, **** offered to give me his movers #s so I could discuss with them directly. Customer should not be having to address issues with your employees.

    Owner threatened that they will not issue refund for negative review. Feel like I'm getting paid to not review.Unable to communicate with owner properly.Negative customer experience due to unfinished work and no breakdown of charges.Quality of service is lacking. Does not care about customers and feedback.Hung up phone on customer complaint rather than resolution. Initially ignored all my messages.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Owner had threatened me to remove my negative review on Yelp and has responded unprofessionally. They owner refused the request for a $400 refund and denied to provide a breakdown of costs. On Yelp, they had special discounts but none was applied. Now the owner is contacting me via email to remove my dispute and feel that I'm getting pressured/threatened to follow his demands. Based on other reviews, threats against their clients seem to be a continuous and unsafe reaction. 

     

    I do not need additional resolution at this point and may need to file a police report.
