I realized that the cash value of my account was significantly lower than what was expected. Upon further review, I was told that Pacific Life is charging me monthly insurance premiums ($2,590) which are higher than the monthly premiums I am paying ($2,083). They claim that they have to make up that difference by reducing the cash value of the policy. How can Pacific Life charge you premiums which are higher than what you put in and then deduct the difference from a projected cash value?I find this to be extremely fraudulent. The agent who explained the policy to me never disclosed this fact. Otherwise, I never would have signed up for it.

While Pacific Life was checking to see if I qualified for their plan, they asked me questions about my kids, which I thought was strange, but answered them anyway. When they emailed me back to say I qualified, my quoted rate of $95/month was now $185/month. I asked them why the actual rate was doubled, and they said it's because I added my kids as riders to the policy and there's a "problem" with my liver. So they used the answers to my questions about my kids to just add them without asking me if that's what I wanted to do. They also lied about my health status. They said there was a "problem" with my liver. I then got a 2nd opinion from an actual legitimate dictor who said there was nothing wrong with my liver. So they added my kids to the policy without my consent and used unethical doctors to lie about my health status.

I recently closed an annuity I had with this company for over 10 years. I filled out all the paperwork and asked that the funds be wired. As a matter of fact, I reviewed the form with one of their people. I sent all the appropriate information and after almost a week heard nothing, but saw on the website that it was closed. I called several times and waited for over an hour on hold. I finally got someone and was told there was a piece of information missing, never told what it was. So they mailed the check. It was a very large amount of money. I asked why they didn't call me and the person had no answer. I feel that if this had been money going in they would have tried to expedite the situation. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I have a ******** set aside annuity that pays me every year in December. Last year I moved, and I called them numerous times, mailed notarized letters requesting an address change. They kept mailing it to my old house over and over again. Eventually, I called the new homeowner, and told them to keep an eye out because Pacific Life couldn't figure out how to change the address. Thankfully, the new home owner called me and I was able to get my check. The next year comes, and I call Pacific Life prior to my payment date, and they assured me that I will get it at my house on the 20th of Dec. On Dec, 27th I called because I had not gotten it. I found out it had been mailed to the wrong address. It's now Jan, 19, 2023. And they still can't figure it out. I work for an organization with 16 million clients, and we manage to handle 95% of our jobs on time. I can't imagine how they can't communicate better than this. Apparently, there is a back office where everything is completed, but it can not be reached by phone, only email, and it takes 48 hours to get a response.I hope I get my money soon!

I was receiving a pension check from them for retirement. For over 6 years I received checks on time and with never a problem. BUT, this past year, FOUR of their checked bounced when I deposited them into my bank account. The last one was just a few days ago, Each time THEIR check bounced, my bank took the amount out of My account and now for the first time ever, I have an overdraft. Because of Pacific Life. I am being penalizedbecause of THEM. I cant pay my bills because the bank took money out of MY account to cover THEIR bounced check.
