Company (********, the owner) was hired to provide 5 workers to work 7 hours per day for 5 days. ******** showed up with 2 other workers. Her workers were hired solely for this job, and by the end of the week, one had already quit because of disputes over being paid. The other worker regretted signing up for the job, because she had to rent a truck herself because the owner did not have a credit card, or similar excuse. The owner did stay on a few more days to try to make up for some of the hours, but said that the account was paid in full. Many of the things from the house were very valuable, and the owner left with some of them, so it made sense that the account was paid in full despite being below the contract price. However 5 days later, the owner charged an additional $3,600 on the credit card on file. Because the original charge was authorized, additional charges are hard to dispute to get the money back. Owner does not return phone calls.A social worker was called in because of all the complaints against Owner (******** or "******"). Everything was supposed to have been donated. **************** came to pick up items in driveway. But by the end the owner left with a full carload of items, including boxes on roof rack, and a fully loaded trailer. Owner also was selling items from the driveway. She said that she would give me the money, but she never did.Additionally, my laptop, ipad, and apple watch went missing. I asked Owner everyday where they were. She kept dismissing my questions, saying they were in some bags, but they were not where she said they were. Finally, after ******* her for days, she said that she found them. I believe that if I hadn't noticed them missing, owner would have taken these items too.
