On Saturday October 21st 2023 at noon I visited Lido ******* I parked in the ***************** parking lot and was towed after approximately 30 minutes. I was forced to pay a fine of $303 dollars for the tow, ****** for Gate fee and $85 a day even though I picked it up before 2pm. Signage in this area is deceptive and unclear. There is no clear distinction between the two plazas on Lido ******* Signage does not clearly state which stores you are able to go into nor did they ask me where I was going or if I was visiting multiple places. Because of this confusion I was unfairly targeted and forced to pay a fee to get my car out of **************** in **********.This practice is unfair and unreasonable. Signage should clearly state where patrons are able to go or attendants should ask people parking in the area where they are going before parking in so they are not towed. After parking my car in the ***************** I walked past the attendant and nothing was mentioned to me that I was not allowed to park in that specific area. I have visited this area quite frequently since I moved here. I have never had this issue in the past. When I came out to find my car the guy laughed at me and said it was towed like it was a joke. I am requesting a refund.I have also emailed the city about this issue and they said because its private property they cant do anything about it.

    To Whom it may concern,

Regarding complaint # ********, it is unclear if the person has a complaint against our property or another property. Our property is ******** Plaza. The complaint is about *********** Plaza.

Signs on our property are very clear as to the parking restrictions. We have a private lot with over 50 signs advising drivers that if they leave our property, they will be towed.

I am talking about ********* where bearflag is located. Once again. Even as the below message states there is a lot of confusion between the two plazas and there are no direct signs to where customers of lido are allowed to go. Even the parking attendants dont say anything to you when you pull in and walk by. They just laugh at you when you ask where your car is and say oh it was towed. I dont know who this business employs to watch these lots but they are poor decisions on behalf of the company.

This is a bad business practice and over 50 signs is an exaggeration for two parking lots that I see they have.
