    I had my car been tinted on 8/19/2023, and I call this body shop in the following week regarding to the scratches was found on the windshield, so I reschedule the appointment on 8/30 to the shop. On 8/30, the shop owner said the scratches are too small, they can not redo the work because of that small thing . I went back and toke the pictures to send through the message to the shop owner , one of the scratch is about 10 inches long and located in driver side , it is bothering and distracting me while I am driving, but this shop owner reply me that : this is aftermarket product and applies by human, it cannot 100% perfect. I do understand nothing is perfect, but that product seems defective, and I dont know what is the shops standard to evaluate the quality of the work , and scratch free life warranty doesnt seem work. I would like to request refund for the windshield to find another body shop to redo the job.

    when customer brought car in complaining of scratches she was only referring to one in the middle of windshield which i could barely see after thoroughly cleaning the glass since car and glass was very dirty, i finally saw it after moving car into a position in the sun that allowed me to finally see it, it appeared to be a very fine 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch scratch bottom middle which i told her that i cannot justify re-tinting the windshield just for that , i explained there should be an expectation that there might be a few flaws due to it being an aftermarket applied product. she never at that time showed me or attempted to point out any 10" scratch. after i had explained everything to her she seemed satisfied and left. it wasn't until she left 2 negative reviews on ****** and yelp that she had mentioned the 10" scratch that i realized she was still unsatisfied, she should have said some thing about a refund when she was here, we have over 500 5 star reviews from very satisfied customers, we pride our business on 100% customer satisfaction, however we cannot resolve the problem if customer does not communicate with us at the time we are looking at her car, she did not say much like i said she seemed satisfied with my explanation at the time. i am more than happy to issue a $200 dollar refund for the cost of the windshield tinting along with a $100 additional for any inconvenience she has suffered due to her not being satisfied with our services. i hope this resolves this matter and she may come by any time for her cash refund or i can mail it to her.
