  First of all, **** has a big sign on their contract that says BBB Accredited Business, A+ rating, and neither of these things are true. I had an absolute garbage experience with United Transportation Moving and Storage. On the day of the pickup, the lead crew member looked me in the eyes and said "If you pay a little bit more up front, you'll probably have your things delivered to you sooner". In hindsight I should have cut and run right there. The contract DOES state that they reserve the right to take up to 21 days from requested date of delivery, and for me they literally used all 21 days. That is three weeks of wondering where my belongings were. Naturally I called the office after a few days of hearing nothing, and there was no response. I left a voicemail, and did not receive a callback. I repeated this process again every other day for those following three weeks and only got through to somebody twice. This is a sketchy company and I regret using them for the amount of stress it caused. I finally got an email that said my things were being delivered on ** date, however they would have to add a $450 charge to my invoice as a "shuttle charge", because they looked at the address on ****** maps and determined that they could not fit their trailer on my street. This street is full-sized with clear entry and exit to the freeway, with no cars parked on the curb. It could not have been any more accessible. In fact, the guy that delivered my car had only been driving for about 6 months and got his trailer in with no problems at all. My things finally arrived on a box truck and I was told that movers would arrive in fifteen to twenty minutes to help me unload. That crew took over two hours to arrive, and by then I had already moved everything. I emailed to say "I do not authorize any further charges to my card". and they promptly responded by charging the $425 shuttle fee and ignoring further communication. *****. Spend the extra $ for a real moving company.

  I would highly recommend United Transportation Moving for all you Moving needs Job #W296421 They were on time for my pickup, the crew was polite, handled my furniture and belongings professionally. The delivery to ***** was on time and put all our things in there perspective room.A big shout out to ****** who was in charge of the crew, he did an awesome job.We had no damages or missing items.Thank you United Moving

  Booked United Transportation, I need to move my mom asap and they were highly recommended to me by a friend. I called their office and a nice lady by the name of ****** answer the phone, she was very helpful. She helped me make the reservation. The crew showed up on time, they were nice and help me finish the packing. Im telling you they were efficient and hardworking. Their packing skills exceed mine, and Im glad they were there to help. Im not only happy, Im relieved to know that United Transportation is taking care of my ************ heirlooms. **** was very patient with 70yr old mom. I would definitely recommend United Transportation to any one moving. A little secret; they offer Senior Discount!

  I am so glad I came across United Transportation because moving from ** to ****** was definitely a struggle in thought. They made my move so easy. I appreciate the office staff bcus they kept me updated with every move. They packed and wrapped all my items good they handled it with extra care. ****** whom was the driver was super helpful, he made my moving experience so easy & I loved that he communicated in a professional manner. I am so happy with this company, they made my move that much better.

  I am so happy I went with United transportation for our cross country move. They brought enough manpower and a big enough truck to get everything loaded quickly and efficient.The driver ****** did an amazing job and delivered my belongings fast. I receive the highest level professionalism throughout the move. I would like to thank the Sales ************* and **** for all of their help, the movers, *****, ****, and *******. Lets not forget about the dispatcher ***, he was always ready to help. I will be moving in the next five years and I will be using United transportation again.

  If there was a - star button they would get it! SCAM!!!!!I regret to say that my experience with United Transportation Moving & Storage has been far from satisfactory. I engaged their services by making a reservation on 10-23-2023, with the expectation of a smooth and transparent process. Unfortunately, this was not the case.The cancellation of this reservation became a point of contention due to discrepancies in communication and execution. Despite my immediate action to cancel upon discovering a significant reduction in the shipment weight, it seems there was a disconnect between the information provided by the company and the actions taken by their representatives.I diligently followed the company's cancellation procedure via multiple channelsleaving messages, engaging in direct conversations, and adhering to email correspondence guidelines. Despite assurances from company representatives, including a conversation on December 9, 2023, when they guaranteeing the refund process, the refund has remained elusive.The company cited a supposed failure to cancel within a stipulated seven-day period as the reason for forfeiting the deposit. However, this contradicts the information provided to me in the email correspondence, clearly outlining the move date as Oct 31 or Nov 1, 2023, not the erroneously mentioned October 24.This confusion in provided information and the actions of their representatives has caused undue frustration and inconvenience. I urged for an immediate resolution to this matter and request access to all email correspondences and voice call recordings between the company and myself regarding this reservation. they have ignored all of my attempts to resolve this matter Today 1/3/2024 I called again and the representative simply told me to take them to small claims court if i want to see my money

  I needed help moving so they recommended me united transportation moving and since the first time they where friendly answer all my calls and emails they group who picked up my items where amazing and friendly professional packed and wrap all my stuff amazing

  They overcharge sand communication is terrible! DO NOT USE THEM!!We asked to receive a quote before the movers got there. We never did. Then the pick up guy said he had to add $2000 extra for the stuff we had put on the quote that we never received. (It was like 4 extra things by the way they up charge SO much!) We tried to tell him that we asked for the quote but never got it, which if we had we wouldnt have moved so much stuff cause $2000 is way too much extra! He also counted each tiny little box as the same price as a full extra large box. He didnt tell us this until the whole truck was loaded (again we never got the pre-quote so we didnt know this is how pricing worked. Last company we used prices by weight not by the item.) When we saw it we demanded to repack some things since we could easily shove like 7 small boxes into a large box and bring the price down. But he refused. He said there was nothing he could do but we should contact customer service for a discount. We have waited weeks to discuss this and havent gotten anywhere. The numbers on their website done work. And the only number we have that works goes to a Russian guy who just says you have to wait for customer service to contact you! Which is stupid because our stuff is getting delivered today, and you have to pay upon delivery or they keep our stuff. Weve emailed and called a hundred times and havent gotten anyone to help us, and now theyre going to strong arm us into paying way more than we need to just so we dont loose everything. We also had no communication with the driver even though we were promised warning before delivery. He just sent a text saying Ill be there tomorrow. And then no further responses about time or our pricing. Its so frustrating to just be ignored and now forced to pay so much for no reason. We had mixed feelings when we choose them because of the reviews. If anyone is reading this, do NOT take the risk. Just use someone else. They suck!!

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! BEWARE!!!!!I was quoted $2,800 to move a small amount (2 bedrooms and a couch) from ******** to ******* . After my stuff was in the truck and packed- they added fees that they "forgot " to charge #1 fuel charges ($400) and a "administration fee". ($300). I paid $1500 up front through VENMO. After the initial extra charges. I decided to use my credit card to pay the remaining balance once I received my furniture. The mover showed up alone BOTH times loading and unloading . They hired local help (who were NOT professional movers and paid each of them cash. After I moved , this company held my items hostage until I paid an extra $400! That is not the worst thing that this SHADY company did , 2 weeks AFTER I moved , they charged my credit card $774!!! Without my consent . I have the contract and the paid in full receipt . Save yourself , Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

  Worse service moving I have experienced. Furniture was to arrive when I moved in July 21, 2023. It is 9/13/23 and I am still waiting for a delivery date. Dispatcher rude and argumentative. I ended up having a heart attack and in the hospital 5 days. The dispatcher even harassed me in the hospital. I am very concerned if I do get my furniture what will be condition?I used this company because at the time I thought they were BBB rated. This move very expensive because I have had to purchase many items that I already had, such as TV, household items.Please, no one use this carrier.
