I am rejecting this response because: the tech arrived after 3pm. Very arrogant, but set out 2 of 3 traps, was NOT able to go onto roof as it was raining. So the entry/ exit points are still UNRSOLVED. In my opinion, the problem is continuing as their are now possibly multiple breaches and contamination as the enrty/ exit points was not resolved on date of installation. As per the tech, ****, another appointment was set up for Thursday 11/21/24. The job is NOT complete until all masters are resolved.Aneill

Complaint: 22558311
I am rejecting this response because:They asked me to make an appointment: made for 11/14/24.@10am... no show because tech went somewhere else in ************. Arrived after 3pm, just laid 2 of 3 traps.
Made another appointment for 11/21/24@10 am. No show not even a cancelation. Cleed them many times during day, requested to speak with manager, ***** R, refused.
Was able to make another appointment for 12/5/24. Requested assurance they will find the entry points and seal it yo my satisfaction. Also they will remove the contaminated insulation and redo appropriately and this includes the new entry to Bigger attic due to ****** not finding and selling the entire smaller attic. Now both attics are re contaminated. This lies squarely on their Incomplete repair/ seal/ insulate on original estimate( fully paid for) work done
Please confirm that all thses action items will be rectified on 12/5.

The business won't stop harassing us for the charge we didn't agree on. Attic Pros originally quoted $5400 that we approved and we were asked to pay $3120 deposit. This includes Insulation removal, mold treatment and Drywall repair. But when the on site technician reported that Drywall repair wasn't needed, ****** revised the quote to $2900. We asked ****** multiple times if they should refund us $220 since the deposit we made was more than the total cost of the project final quote. We didn't get a response and had no clarification. Later, Attic Pros repeatedly sent us another $2900 invoice asking us to pay, for which we didn't agree and didn't know what it's for. They keep harassing us with this invoice despite we told them that's not what we agreed upon.Business Response

Issue Resolved - Refund Issued
Hello,
The issue has been resolved. We voided the remaining balance on the account and mailed a $220 refund to the client. However, it is important to note that the client refused to pay for the work that had already been completed.
Best regards,*** **********

I am rejecting this response because: Attic Pros has been gaslighting and harassing us for an unfounded claim of balance of $2,900 for months. Today , after their continuous daily email invoice balance harassment, we received a direct mail reminder for the balance. They've been completely unapologetic about their no show, the harassment even given the written communication with details of the quote, work order cost and payment details. The financial loss we suffered from their no show, the work hours loss from managing the situation and the mental toll on us are not what refunding us $220 can compensate. We're pursuing legal actions against this company.
Sincerely,

We're sorry to hear that you feel this way. Our goal with the notifications about unpaid invoices is simply to get paid for the work you approved. We have employees and suppliers who rely on timely payments, and we want to ensure they are compensated. The job was completed based on your approval, and we hope to resolve this matter soon.
As the owner of Attic Pros, I personally want to ensure your satisfaction. If theres anything youre unhappy with, please propose a resolution, and well work to make things rightCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: The business is lying about what we approved. I've provided the Estimate ($5,400), Payment made ($3,210) and revised Estimate ($2,900). There's no proof that we owe $2,900 more. Unless Attic Pros can provide a signed $8,300 contract that we approved, we don't see evidence on this extra invoice. We'll go through legal system and CA *********************** for this matter of harassment.Initial Complaint

I paid atticpros for an attic fan and installation couple of years ago. The person they sent to install the fan said the other workers who did attic work didnt leave all the screws but he will do his best to fix the fan Then in the storms in ********** the solar panel for the fan flew away. The fan obviously stopped working They sent the same person who installed it to fix it. He told me he cannot fix it without parts and he knew it wont hold without all the screws I wrote to them to order the parts or replacement from the vendor they got the fan from Few weeks later the person who installed the fan came home. He said attic pros insists its his problem and he should fix but he doesnt have the parts and cant do anything about it Now I am out 2-3 grand for the fan and installation, have been following up for months for a fix and am struggling with a hot attic that has no ventilation Attic pros should either replace the fan with a new one from the vendor or reimburse me the cost they charged to buy and install the lemonBusiness Response

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Attic Pros regarding their Rodent Proof Warranty provided to me on December 5, 2018 for $860. Despite the assurance of a rodent-free attic and a 5-year warranty, I have been continuously experiencing rodent noise and observing droppings inside my attic since the service was conducted.Over the past four years, I have made multiple warranty claims to Attic Pros, requesting resolution for the persistent rodent infestation issue. Although they made some attempts to patch potential entrance points, the problem has not been resolved effectively, as the rodent activity continues.During their recent visits, Attic Pros has refused to address the issue properly and instead pointed to unrelated factors, such as a garage door and trees, as reasons for the infestation. These excuses contradict the purpose of the Rodent Proof Warranty, which is to ensure a rodent-free attic and hold Attic Pros responsible for cleaning up any droppings and fixing entrance points. This situation has caused me considerable frustration, financial burden, and ongoing inconvenience. Therefore, I am seeking your intervention to facilitate a resolution with Attic Pros. I request either a full refund for the *********************** or a permanent and effective resolution of the rodent infestation issue in my attic, in accordance with the terms of the warranty.Enclosed, please find copies of the invoice and the contract with Attic Pros.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a swift resolution.Business Response

I hired Attic Pros to do services in my attic for rodent proofing, cleaning and sanitizing, and removing old insulation and installing new one. They gave me a quote for how much it would be and I agreed for them to do the job. I asked the salesman what color the insulation would be before they do the job and they provided me with a photo via text of what it will look like. I had told them that I wanted fiberglass and was told it will be that kind. I was fine with that and proceeded for them to do the insulation installment on 8/29/22. When they arrived on that day, I saw the insulation and the color of it looked different from the photo that was given to me. I asked one of the employees why the insulation was much darker in person and was told that it comes that way. They didn't tell me what kind of material it was either. After they got done with the job, I later found out that the insulation was made out of recycled glass. If I had known it wasn't fiberglass, I wouldn't have let them install the insulation. I contacted the company about the problem and I told them that I wanted them to renew the insulation I had asked for or give me a discount on the insulation they installed.Business Response
