On 06-AUG-2024, I was in a chat with a representative from Shuttle Transtel (******) on the Shuttle Transtel website. He informed me to send $890 via ***** to a representative in exchange for transport of a piano to my home in Massachusetts. I was told that my description in the ***** transfer of, "***** ** ***** ****" was incorrect??? I was then told my payment of $890 would be placed on automatic refund on this same date, 06-AUG-2024. It is now 06-SEPT-2024 and I still have not received my refund. I have followed up with the vendor multiple times via this chat option on their Shuttle Transtel website but continually receive the reply of when I would get my refund would be in "a few days". A copy of this chat will be attached to this request. Ultimately, I would love to receive the piano I paid for instead of the refund, but I am very concerned Shuttle Transtel will never refund my payment, even though they said they would. I would like to file a complaint against Shuttle Transtel because of this, in hopes of either receiving the piano I paid delivery for, or recovering my money, and hoping this never happens to anyone else.

Subject: Internet Theft and Request for Assistance I am writing to report a case of internet theft and seek assistance in recovering my funds. I found an advertisement for a Grand Piano on ******** Marketplace and contacted the seller, who directed me to her brother, *********************** (email: ************************* *********** informed me that the piano belonged to his late wife, and he wished to give it away as he was moving to a smaller space. He mentioned that the piano was already with a moving company (Shuttle Transtel), which could deliver it to me for a reasonable fee. I contacted the moving company through their website and communicated with an agent named ******. He quoted a delivery fee of $790 for a 14 day delivery, which I paid via PayPal on July 1, 2024. The company confirmed receipt of my payment on July 9, 2024, and asked me to fill out a change of ownership form requiring my drivers license as well as my social security number. I asked more than once if I could provide alternative identification, but they insisted on the specific IDs. Due to my discomfort in providing such sensitive information at the risk of potentially becoming an ID theft statistic, I decided to cancel the shipment. Before I could request a refund, I came across a ****** post titled "How I was almost scammed by a ************ G2 Baby Grand Piano' ad on *********** DON'T give your money to Exelsure Movers or Exelsures Movers. Both are Indian scam operations imitating fake shell moving companies." The details in the post mirrored my experience, making me realize I had been scammed. I have all the correspondence documented and seeking your assistance to recover my funds. Please guide me on the necessary steps to take. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, *************************** *************************
