The WEBNOVAS charged me thousands of dollars to build my website and host it on their platform. I paid for 5 years of hosting services. The Web Novas called me after a year and said if I don't spend another at least $1100 on "security" they will turn my website off, (I called ******* who owns the domain and they said that simply isn't true, they would have been alerted. So clearly a scam. Very dissapointing considering this is my business website and email.

$465 was paid to this company to build me a fully functional website with shopping cart that allowed me to take orders from my customers and have the money deposited into my Clover account. They also said they would provide me with a domain name registered in my name but they kept it registered in their name.Nature of the dispute: the website is not finished and looks like a child built it. The rest of the issues are listed below. The business said the website is finished their is nothing more for them to do for me. They refuse to acknowledge all the issues listed below and will not resolve the problems.ISSUES Very bad company to deal with. They did not finish my website at all. There were broken links, buttons that went nowhere, the social media was not hooked up, the shopping cart did not take any orders, the images were not optimized or sized correctly for the website pages, my phone number and email was not added but instead the templates details stayed on the header. All in all it was a waste of money getting these guys to build me a website. The customer support does not respond once they get your money and my website looks like a 10 year old kid built it. I am reporting them to The Better Business Bureau and if they don't give me a full refund within the next 7 days I will take then to small claims court to get my money back. I had to pay another web designer to rebuild me another new website and I also had to buy a new domain name because The Web Novas, registered my domain name in their company name and would not even let me re-direct the domain name to my new website. This was not the agreement.I have taken screen dumps of all the issues I listed above if you need me to send them to BBB just let me know Thanks ***************************

On or about October 13, 2023 my company Project Simeon 2000 entered into a contract for Webnovas to build a website for our company. My company paid $2,495.00, they never delivered on their promise or the product. My company executed the return procedure as set forth on their website. They agreed to pay us $1,500 according to their sliding scale of returns/refunds.That has been well over two months ago and now the company does not answer my calls or return my emails.
