    The technician from CalTek plumbing showed up to assess the task at hand which was a leaking toilet issue on the second floor. He stated that he would have to cut the drywall sealing from downstairs room to fix the issue, and for that he would charge $750. After agreeing, he literally went to ACE supply store and bought $5 grease wax and replaced it in ***************************************** anything to get to it.Then, he asked for cash which I declined, and then for a check to be made out to an individual name which I also declined.I was ignored when tried reaching out to the company. Upon checking with other plumbers, this task could not any more than $150.CalTek has price gauged me and cheated me.

    Please see response as follows.

    ************** was advised he was entitled to a partial refund however when he called us to make his complaint, he had already disputed the complete charge through his credit card company. Therefore at that time we could not provide any sort of refund until that was finalized. He gave us an ultimaron of days were he expected a response and left bad reviews all over our company pages. 

    The work perform isnt as simple as he describes, replacing his wax ring included true following;
    . Removal of existing toilet 
    Water supply to toilet is shut off,  tank is emptied, toilet is completely removed from surface, 
    Area is cleaned up and prep for new wax ring installation. 
    . Shop for and delivery of new wax ring 
    . Installing back existing toilet, connect to water supply line, turn supply line back on and check for leaks and proper function. 
    Cost will be $500.00 
    We will refund a total of $250.00
    A check will be issued and mailed to the address on file;

    He should expect it within the next 5-7 business days.
