I went to meineke's website and found a $50 off coupon for brake service and from the coupon page selected to set up an appointment for the next day. Today I went to the business who get my brakes fixed and told them I had a $50 off coupon. The manager said he would deal with the coupon at the end of the service not the beginning. My car was serviced, and I was cashed out and started to drive away. I went half a block and realized that I was not given the $50 off. I turned around and went back in the store and the manager said he didn't know how to give me the $50 that he would call another store. He also indicated that I had to have the coupon with me, and my phone was at home so I told him I would be right back. I came back within 30 minutes and showed him the coupon, however he said he would not give me a refund because the computer wouldn't let him. That instead he would give me a credit to my next service, which I never plan to have another service with this store again! Therefore I told him I wanted my $50 refund not a credit. He continued to refuse stating he didn't know how to do it The computer wouldn't let him, and he called another store so that store manager could tell me the same thing. I said I don't care how your computer is set up I would like my $50 from the coupon which is a binding contract. He kept talking over me, eventually I said I didn't want to have to go to small claims court to get $50 at which time he stood up and pointed to the door and said get out of my store. He repeated that many times get out of my store get out get out get out. I am still out $50. This business is super shady, and I need help getting my refund. In addition I asked for my calipers to be checked because they were squeaking, and when I left the store they were still squeaking but I cannot go back to have them look at it because the manager was trying to intimidate me the last time I was in his store. Please assist.
