    My son had his 2017, ****** Versa Note SE in the body shop for repair. They called him to ask if there were any other problems. He told them no, and they said his car would not start. He had it towed to Oceanside Auto Repair. The diagnosis was a bad starter and the cost would have been over $800.00. I told him not to get it fixed and I would look at it. We paid the $125.00 diagnosis fee, then had it towed to our home. On Saturday morning, April 29th, we were having another key made by a mobile locksmith. As he was doing that, I was checking a few things. I noticed a part of the replaced frame was painted. I scraped off some of the paint to expose the bare metal for the ground wire. The locksmith asked if he could start the car, I told him yes, please do so. The car started up right away! I called the repair shop and they said that there was no more they could do and that was the regular price. I also told them that they need to retrain their mechanics. So, the car was misdiagnosed and a new starter would have not worked.
