1 starChaotic,Disaster, Biased system ,this system aims directly at minorities and low income families. I have had 10 jobs and if you are a server at a restraunt, good luck you won’t be able to get housing, if you are 1099 employee no housing for you, all the small business owners , this takes attack on you. If If you recently just started a job after being laid off, and just got a job offer this system will fall you as fraud. Middle class or the poor have no chance at renting with these properties. wake up people ,a lot of homelessness is going to happen, is happenings statistics showing how more people are more homeless more then ever now. In the next 2 years the system will hurt the landlords because a lot of people are not renting due to this mis hap.Review fromAriel S

1 starHonestly, I have never in my life experienced such a disaster based on this ridiculous AI system. I’ve lived in my own apartment since I was 18 paying at least $3K every single month. I have no problem paying my rent. My credit is fine, no debt, & 2 cars paid off. The problem stems from I got approved for Magnus Brickell. They told me to upload my proof of income on this application. My bank account was closed in December due to fraud but, it was reopened and a different account so I am unable to directly retrieve the PDFs from the Chase app. Once the bank account is closed I’m only able to have printouts & mailed documents & as you know you cant upload scan documents I asked the complex they said there’s nothing they can do other than getting 3 recent paystub’s from my job. I said OK so I contacted HR on my lunch that day retrieve 3 paystub’s directly from HR I uploaded them with 2 months bank statements with Jan. & Feb. The next day the apartment complex says my application was denied & I need to take it up with Snappt bc it’s not their decision. I already disputed and I am yet to retrieve a response from an actual human. It’s all AI automated responses. They’re saying, my paystub’s are non-verifiable, but that’s impossible. I sent an appeal with pictures of my work badge, pictures of my company with the logo on the building, offered to contact HR, a statement, 7 months of bank statements Even though they’re scanned just for additional proof. I have tried calling voicemail email leaving a review on Facebook. Nothing seems to catch their attention or want to do anything about it. If I was genuinely doing fraud I wouldn’t be fighting so hard about it. not to mention the apartment complex already asked for a $500 deposit plus $150 application fee And guess what? I don’t get my deposit back, even though I never even signed the lease and moved in, so this has to be a scam that apartment complexes are partnering with this company to deny residents and take their money.Review fromAndrew M

Have the same issues all other reviewers on the website. Uploaded bank statements to SNAPPT directly downloaded from the bank, didn't even open it before uploading, still came back "EDITED". SNAPPT could easily verify the bank statements were not edited in my dispute by calling them, but they obviously didn't. Which is funny since that's what they recommend property managers to do in their own blog posts!Snappt, LLC

1 starTrying to prove income for apartment lease at Riverset Apartments in Memphis TN and SNAPPT software won't accept the only kind of PDF that I can download from my payroll companies website. There appear to be no work arounds and not way of contacting them for help.Review fromWilliam J

Terrible terrible immoral company. No customer service at all and they use dated AI to determine whether or not you should live in an apartment or not. It's the weirdest most anti-human program that punishes people who RENT out of all people. Do not ever sign a lease with property management that uses Snappt.Snappt, LLC

This company is hard to work with. At risk of my application being rejected for an apartment because a paystub document came back as "edited." The issue was that my job's payroll site only has a print to save as PDF option. In order to download it the way Snappt requires there's a back end way I had to get in contact with my IT department. Point is, I was able to export the file to my computer via print to save and re export it and it uploaded to Snappt. Problem is -it came back as edited, though the information had not been. Looking for human assistance to look into the situation and they will see that the documents are the same - no edits - just ways of export. I need a human response as this is my life and the roof over we're talking about here. I am not a tech expert nor do I understand exactly what Snappt is tracking... I simply wanted to get my documents submitted in a timely manner. Human error is inevitable but Snappt should be prepared for this. People face issues and the guidance doc form Snappt is not always sufficient for every scenario. Humans should respond to disputes and not Ai. There should also be a phone number to call for disputes. My documents are authentic and I can provide proof into the situation including a screen recording of logging into my payroll portal and there not being a download option. I could also resubmit the documents properly (that my IT guy was able to assist) and Snappt could verify the doc against the initial one sent. There needs to be Snappt representation for us as applicants to work with and who want to help. This for an application at the Avalon Yonkers. Can someone reach out quickly, please!Snappt, LLC

Hi B******– We’re sorry to hear you feel our company is hard to work with. Please understand that we are actually not a direct to consumer business. Our technology provides insights to our clients as they review supporting income documentation during the apartment application process. Ultimately, the apartment buildings determine their specific screening criteria and process. We work closely with these properties on if they have any questions or need support with our technology. The applicant communicates with the property directly on any questions they may have about their application as they are the final decision maker on the application. It sounds like you were having issues directly downloading your paystubs. Snappt does not accept documents that cannot be directly downloaded from banking or financial institutions. These files do not provide proper meta data for our technology to analyze. Even if you didn’t ‘edit’ the document directly, if the document is downloaded into a third party editing software, it can corrupt the meta data. Unless the document is downloaded directly from the provider, it simply isn’t in a condition for us to analyze properly. We provide these document instructions directly within our document upload portal. We understand wanting a human touch and again recommend contacting your property team for this support. A representative from our Customer Experience team responded to your dispute same day on 10/9/24 - answering your question on the document ruling and ultimately recommending that you contact your property team. As this point in the process, it sounds like you were able to successfully complete a direct download and were able to upload clean income documentation. We recommend that you review this documentation with Avalon Yonkers directly and that you work together to have a final decision made on your application. Kind Regards, Snappt Customer Experience
