      I entered into a credit card debt relief program with Brownstone Law Group in Oct 2019. Everything was going along well. We were in frequent communication, monies were being deposited (from me) and paid to credit card companies through an account with *************** LLC. I thought I had finished with the debt program in August 2023 but have not been able to reach anyone at BLG to confirm this. They do not respond to my emails and when I call the numbers I have for them ************* and ************), I get a message from ******* (my carrier) that states "the party is temporarily unavailable." The real problem is that I am now being sued for an old credit card balance from *************** that was charged off, and subsequently purchased by Midland. I am being sued by *****************************************. To my knowledge, the Banana card was settled with Midland by BLG on my behalf. However, I have no proof. I have a 1099 form from Midland but it does not indicate which credit card the charge off was for. (I thought the extra monies coming out of my Global account on 8/8/30/2023 went to the *************** debt.) The attorneys attys at ******** want proof and now I cant get in contact with anyone at BLG to get the proof.
