    Purchased a full set of cases for my high-end professional drumset back in 2006. They were expensive but the salesman convinced me at "lifetime warranty" - so I made the $$$ plunge. Recently at an audition discovered all of the foam lining had melted/broken down and was all over the finish of my wood-stain finish/chrome on the drums. I was bummed and assumed this would be just another "ha ha what warranty" situation? But absolutely not the case (pun intended)...I reached out right at holiday time ************************** the process of hiring a new person for their warranty fulfillment department and she got back to me in a very timely manner. I submitted some pix and details of the case model numbers so they could establish the weight for shipping. I sent the cases (all nested into the large kik drum case) and they even have very low rates with their shipper and so it wasn't what regular full cost would be. They tracked/updated me all thru the process and once they determined the cases couldn't be repaired, I was sent 5 brand new replacement cases that have a better/revised lining (the drums also fit better w/this material). So I had to pay a nominal shipping fee to send them out, but I was stunned at how well I was taken care of! KUDOS to SKB CASES. Keep on rockin' y'all.
