Signed up for solar about a year and half ago system is still not working properly. Contacted the owner via email phone and Text message he has blocked me and any help that I have on my side. When his team came to install the solar they left trash and extra pipes and parts without telling anybody that there was trash left behind. My kids went out to play in the backyard and tripped and cut themselves on the cut pipes and metal laying around. The owner has informed his team to ignore my phone calls and emails. I’m paying for solar that doesn’t work and for the power grid to send me electricity. Pretty much I’m paying double the power bill and planet oath knows this issue and hasn’t reached out about it. The last phone call I received from planet oathe was around march of 2024.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We want to assure you that this is the first time we are learning about the incident involving your kids, and we take such concerns very seriously. Rest assured, we will immediately open an investigation to thoroughly understand and address your concerns.

Our records indicate that this situation was not previously reported to our company. The only matters we were made aware of include the following:

1 After the installation, your wife requested that we clean your pool and remove any debris from your yard, which we promptly addressed.
2 We approved a gift card as a gesture to compensate for the inconvenience.

Regarding the pending service call for your account, we have been diligently working to resolve the issue, even during the time SunPower was still in operation. As you may recall, we sent urgent messages to SunPower, and prior to their bankruptcy, they informed us that a required component for your project was on backorder. Unfortunately, once SunPower filed for bankruptcy, this impacted many clients, including your account.

Following the bankruptcy, your account, along with others, was transferred to SunStrong. Despite this transition, we have continued to advocate on your behalf.

For your reference, we sent a follow-up email to SunStrong on January 13, 2025, with you copied on the correspondence. Additionally, we reached out to them on December 10, 2024, urging them to resolve your complaint and schedule the necessary service work.

Upon checking with SunStrong today, they have confirmed that your project service call has been assigned to a Full-Service Partner near your area.

Please note that SunStrong is the agreement holder for your account, and we are not responsible for handling payment holds or payment requests. For any questions regarding payments or updates on the service, we encourage you to contact SunStrong directly at ###-###-####.

We understand the challenges this situation has caused and sincerely regret any inconvenience to you and your family. While we do not control SunStrong's processes, we remain committed to supporting you in any way we can.
If you have further questions or require assistance, feel free to reach out to us directly.

I am rejecting this response because:

I spoke with Wendy, Ricardo and Roberto the owner. I have proof of text messages notifying them of my daughter’s knee when she fell down. Not only did they know about that specific incident they were notified of all incidents. Every single time any one from the company came out a mess was left behind that included screws thrash a massive pipe and wires hanging from our house. Along with the water being left on. They where notified and we where told they can pick up the mess that was left on a fallowing appointment. At that point  it’s a safety issue and There responses where not of an urgent matter even after planet oathe was made aware of incident’s concerning safety and hazardous debris where being left behind!I took the matter into my own hands every time by cleaning up texting and notifying Planet Oathe of all the issues that were happening every single time! They also did not take care of the pool as they stated it was taken care of by my solar representative Jason Gomez he had personally paid for the pool to be clean when planet oathe ignored my request  because there electricians did not hook power up to the pool after they removed the panel there wasn’t even a breaker set in place for my pool to have power.

      Regards,

We bought solar from Planet Oath last year. They installed 9 solar panels. Seven of the 9 panels stopped working on 1/24/23. Only 2 panels are recording energy. We have contacted their installers Core Energy and Planet Oath several times. Our salesman with Planet Oath is also aware of our problem. Currently we feel like fools, because we are making payments on the solar loan. Because our problem is still unresolved, we are contacting you. Can you recommend a lawyer or suggest the next steps we need to do?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 19591858. As of 3/16/23 we are waiting for a call back from Core Energy.  They came out to our home on 3/15/23 to assess the problem.  They were unable to resolve issue and believe a part is needed to fix it.  As soon as they have part they will return and repair our solar connection.  As of today we are waiting for Core Energy's call back.  Both Planet Oath and our salesman have also tried diligently to resolve solar panel problem .

      Thank you,
