Do not trust this man! Yes, his credentials may look impressive, but don’t be fooled, he’s a well-polished con man. PLEASE read this before hiring J***** ********** and his K-9 Behavior Services.
We had to sue him for breach of contract and misrepresentation and we won, twice. We paid him $13,000 in 2018 to procure and train a SERVICE DOG for my disabled brother. We had a contract with him saying we would receive a “fully trained service dog,” with papers to show certification from a licensed veterinarian. There were no papers, and we never received a trained service dog. In September of 2019 we received a poorly socialized hyper-active female dog who was barely housebroken. We tried to make it work, but it was immediately clear this dog had absolutely no service dog training. She constantly jumped up on people and would bite at hands hard enough to leave bruises. She destroyed furniture with her incessant chewing, and jumped on and then peed on our furniture. After 10 days of this behavior causing considerable distress and and anguish to my disabled brother, we were forced to return the dog and asked for a refund. Jeremy refused, but said maybe he could give us something if he re-sold her. (He did sell her, but we never saw any refund and he never contacted us again.)
We took him to small claims court in January 2020 (Yolo County Superior Courts, Case# SC-2019-502, Judgement filed January 30, 2020) and the judge decided in our favor and ordered Jeremy to return $10,000 (the highest amount possible in small claims). Jeremy did NOT pay, and decided to appeal.
We won the appeal as well in May of 2020 (Yolo County Superior Courts, Case# SC-2019-502. Judgement filed July 28,2020). This second judge, again ruled in our favor ordering him to return the money to us. Over two years later, Jeremy still hasn’t returned one cent of our money.
This is not an honest person.
