      I came here at 1:34 pm with my dad to pick up his car. My dad's car was stolen from Los Angeles on June 5, 2025 and ended up in Oxnard, California. The car was towed after it was found by the Oxnard Police Station yesterday on June 8. This is the official tow yard for vehicles for the Oxnard Police Department. Kevin, who works here, is extremely rude and is tried to convince us to pay a fee of $400 with a terrible attitude. My dad said he couldn't afford to pay to $400 fee for the car and Kevin tried to guilt trip him by stating that someone has to pay for it and he's gonna lose money. I interjected because he clearly didn't understand that we couldn't afford it. He got snarky and when I asked what his last name was he told me, "it's on the board in front of your face." Angry, snarky man with connections to the Oxnard Police Department. He also made a comment about my dad not being able to sell the car because he doesn't have the title. Obviously we don't have the title the car was stolen. My dad ended up paying to get it out the lot but its disgusting that we have to pay for his car being stolen. Sassy, combative, and prejudiced.

      The police tell you your car will be stored and you can pick it up after you are released. After 4 hours that is not true. They never attempt to just store your car they steal everything you got in it. Then they want you to pay lots of money to get it out even when the police say you can recover your belongings and the car for $70. They lie to you. You bring paperwork from police station and they still do not release. By the time you fight about your car it has already be put up for lein sale only after 4 hours of being there.THEY ARE C*****!!!!
