      On 12/17/22 I sent ****** *******/VC&F Finishing a $1,300.00 deposit by Zelle as requested as partial payment towards costs to refinish my Kitchen cabinets from ****** to **** - to start 12/19/22 & complete prior to Christmas on 12/20/22. WO #**** (attached) given by ****** as Receipt of payment & the agreement for refinishing services-******* Cabinets and Furniture Finishing/****** was to provide & included a balance of $1,150.00 - payable at FULL COMPLETION of the project. However, ******/HIS CO. FAILED TO PERFORM SERVICES PAID FOR - only completing some minor prep-work/tapping and cabinet wipe down. Yet ****** has FAILED TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT. The total cost for the project was $2,450.00.
      On 12/18/22 (prior to prep) and on 12/19/22 I informed ****** of my concerns with the "Nitrocellulose Lacquer" product (he insisted on using) due to the “275” VOC not regulated for residential interior use on Kitchen Cabinets but for instruments such as guitars and or chairs/tables used within a SHOP. After much verbal & text exchange I informed ****** I wanted to use a water-base product on my cabinets with a lower VOC regulated for indoor residential use on Kitchen Cabinets. However, on 12/22/22 during a call with ******, and a Product Consultant discussing the water-base product: ****** stated to me "he no longer wanted to proceed with the project to refinish my cabinets—stating he'd picked up a larger job and would not be available for at least 30 days and would therefore return 1/2 of my $1300.00 deposit. I informed ****** I required $950.00 of the $1.300.00 refunded to me by Zelle that same day. ****** made several excuses - failing to refund my deposit and Blocked my Phone number. On 1/9/23 ****** advised he would begin making "Bi-Weekly" payments in the amount of $250.00: making the 1st on 1/9/23. As of today, 2/25/23 ****** has FAILED TO MAKE ANY ADTL. REFUND PAYMENTS & HAS ONLY EMAILED EXCUSES FOR NON-PAYMENT FROM ******************** ************* BBB PLS. HELP!
