    My financial situation changed, I called americore to find out how I could cancel because I couldn’t handle the monthly payment and because even though I was told this program would get me out of debt in 12 months … when I signed into the portal I realized it said 36 months. WHAT HAPPENED TO “out of debt in 12 months”????
    I was told that since they were in the middle of settling with one of my debtors, I would have to get a layoff quote for that debt (which I did).
    I then payed the payoff amount.
    I was then told to wait about a week for the payment to process and then at that point I could call back and cancel.
    I did all of that.
    When I called back, I was told that my payment had cleared and I could cancel.
    So I did.
    About a week later l, I noticed an extra $1500 in my bank account and I called my bank to find out what it was. Turns out it was a refund from americore, and when I called them to find out why I got a refund, I was told that they didn’t pay off my debt because I canceled.
    My problem here is that, my refund wasn’t even half of the amount I paid in and my debt was not paid EVEN THOUGH I DID EXACTLY WHAT THWY TOLD ME TO DO!!!
    Americore claims they are in it to help you but they are not.
    I have thrown away over $1000 that I didn’t have…. And not a single debt was paid - after Several months!
    They are crooks that intentionally mislead people who are in need and looking for help.
    They should be ashamed and if you are considering working with them - do yourself a favor and DONT!!!!
