    I emailed with their customer support regarding cancelling a yearly subscription in October. I thought all was good until I saw a charge on my credit card for next years subscription. I have emailed over and over with no response. I have tried calling but they wont answer and their message are full so I cant even leave a message. I want my money refunded.

    On November 22, 2023, I paid my annual membership fees to Photobacks in the amount of $97. I erronously paid a second time $97 during that same billing period (as reflected on the December 2023 billing statement I attached). When I discovered my double payment, I emailed Photobacks NUMEROUS times with no resolution. Despite them being able to confirm my double payment by looking at my account with them, they have refused to refund my extra payment.

    One year ago, I signed up for an annual 95.00 subscription to Photobacks for training tips for Photoshop. Beginning June 30 of this year, I was charged 95.00 DAILY, until I noticed the unauthorized charges and put a hold on future payments. Photobacks charged my account 1,045.00 in unauthorized charges. Mistakes happen, but the reason these folks do not deserve to be in business is that I have tried to reach them nearly 30 times through chats on their supposed customer service website, emails to several different support email addresses and even phone messages to a number I found online for them that no one answered. I have sent my contact information in all communications. They took the money and are ghosting me.

    This issue has been completely resolved with the customer.  It was a technical error outside of our control and resolved with PayPal.  All funds were returned without question.  We have a wonderful Customer Support team, but we get hundreds of messages / day, and thus I understand the frustration when Customer Support Reps don't get back to someone as soon as possible, but again, the customer was protected by PayPal, as we confirmed all the errors and refunds and did not take any money not owed to us.

    On July 23rd we were charged for a membership renewal without receiving any communication about the renewal. On July 24th we saw the charge on our credit card statement and contacted Photobacks about it through their website. On July 26th we received a response with two options one of which was a full refund. We have communicated back to them 6 more times to receive the refund and are not receiving any response and have not received any refund.

    Thank you.  Our records show that this user's membership was cancelled as requested on August 10th, 2022, and the refund was sent to the credit card on file as requested on August 10th, 2022, which is days before this complaint was filed.  We also sent email confirmation of the cancellation and refund as requested. There should be no issues here with the BBB, as there have been none before.  Thank you so much for your time.
