I am having a problem with Cornerstone. When I drove to their listed office, i.e., ***********************, I found that it was not Cornerstone. Upon calling their phone number I was told that they had not used that address for years. It seems impossible to get their address. One could question the reliability of a company which spoofs its address. Also, they don't seem to have a business license here in ************, ***The current situation is that the project is almost finished, but I cannot seem to get it totally completed. The only responses I can get are excuses The obvious work done to complete the kitchen remodel would be to fix the doors on a 2-door cabinet so that they could be closed instead of overlapping. The other thing would be to put a bigger door on a cabinet in back of the peninsula to conceal the wiring, etc. The drain for the dishwasher was not installed per code and, when I called it to their attention, the "fix" was not to code either. I had to fix it myself. Their handyman's knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes was obviously lacking. Also, as near as I can tell, there are still a couple of minor code violations. When it is possible to contact Cornerstone by telephone, if they do commit themselves to be at the site at a certain time, they make excuses for not appearing.

A local property inspector and mold assessor, ******************************* of Advantage Home Inspections, highly recommended Cornerstone for my 83-year-old mother's condo remediation after a backed-up condensation pipe caused mold and extensive water damage. On September 15th, 2023, Cornerstone's representative, ******, arrived with ******************************* to conduct a full assessment. Following the hour-long assessment, I didn't hear from ******, in spite of ******** assuring us that his company would take care of everything and save us money as well.. Finally, ****** responded that his partner, the owner I guess, *******************, needed to come and do the assessment and write the estimate for the insurance company. *** arrived on September 20th. He took measurements and spent almost an hour at the property. He assured my mom and me that he would take care of all aspects of the project for us and alleviate the burden of finding contractors. When he left, we had a positive feeling that this man would take good care of us. However, we never heard from him, ******, or ******************************* again. They totally ghosted us. Despite numerous attempts of contacting them, none of our emails, texts, or phone calls were responded to. It was shocking. If this company had a ****** listing, it would receive a scathing review from me. I cannot even fathom how these construction old timers could just completely blow us off with absolutely zero follow-up communication.
