    On April 10, 2022 we signed a contract with Tom Caban of Caban Pools to demo & install ceramic tile, demo & install white plaster, install kool deck around spa & pool, pour concrete side walks and add a handy salt system.
    By mid May, Tom had finished all except the plastering & detail finishing. He kept saying it would be done by Memorial Day, then it went week by week. He & his team came out 3 different times to try to blow in the plaster. Each time it failed, because his machinery was not working correctly or he didn’t use it correctly. He made a mess of our property & city streets so the city issued him a notice of violation from code compliance. He got some plaster in the pool & spa but the texture was not correct so now they must chip it out again. We have tried to question him about when this can take place but have not heard from him since July 3rd except to say he’s finishing a job so he will have money to finish our job. We have paid him for the plaster & pebble tec but since he used a lot of it which now has to be repurchased, he needs funds. He doesn’t need funds to chip out the plaster again but he has still not responded to our inquiries.
