      Our 18-month-old son was referred to Ensemble Therapy for both physical and speech therapy. We never received a single callnothing. We assumed the referrals had been denied. Months later, we found out Ensemble had received them and simply failed to act. No chart was created. No communication. When I reached someone, they said, We apologize for never having called, but were here now. That was their explanation.After completing their intake forms and HIPAA paperwork, we were told our son would be a scheduling priority. Then: silence again. No returned calls. No follow-up. I had to file a formal grievance with our insurer before anyone responded. Then they called my husbandnot me, the listed primary contactfor a Zoom intake screening to see if he might qualify. No in-person eval. No therapist involved. Just a Zoom ************ then, we had already found another provider who offers real care. I canceled the Zoom. Instead of owning their failure, Ensemble emailed back (to the same email they ignored for weeks) and gaslit me, saying they tried to help but I canceled. No mention of their neglect.Ive since spoken with professionals who confirmed this is not standard practice. Zoom intakes for PT or OT with toddlers are often not even valid. Other parents report similar issues. Ensemble has since flooded review sites with new 5-star ratings and restarted their Yelp page to bury older complaints.We never got far enough to assess their therapists. The front desk alone was so disorganized and unprofessional that it negated any benefit. This experience delayed critical services for our son during a time when every week matters for development. If youre a parent trying to get your child supportplease dont waste your time here.
