      We are renewing our lease for the third year. This company has taken over the leasing responsibility from the landlord. They had us sign a lease. My husband and I both signed it. A day after signing our new lease, they went back on their lease offer and now are adding $200 more per month. And they are saying that the lease is no longer available to us. We signed the lease on March 31st of 2025. And today, April 1st of 2025 they are hurrassing us and want more money. This company has committed fraud. They need to be held responsible. After 2 years of us living in our house and paying rent and being responsible tenants, they are trying to push us out so they can raise the rent to a much higher amount. I'll be contacting a residential lawyer tomorrow.

      I rented a home from McLean Rental Company ******************. now called ************* for 28 days from 09/06/24 thru 10/04/24. Under the rental agreement/contract under the Damage Waiver I was insured for up to $2,000 for unintentional damages to rental interior during my stay. On 09/06/24 the coffee table glass fell off its stand and shattered and I immediately contacted the company and reported to them. On 09/23/24 they sent someone to the house for measurement of the coffee table and didnt advise me that my $2,000 Damage Waiver will not cover the cost. After I made another report on 09/28/24 that this time the dining table accidentally was cracked they then called me on 09/30/24 and advised me that the I would be responsible for both glass tables out of my pocket and that the $2,000 **************** that I paid for wasnt going to cover the costs. They told me that it would only cover for example if a cup or a vase broke which wasnt stated under their rental contract. Please refer to the uploaded document, nowhere on the contract does it state what the damage waiver covers and what it doesnt cover.

      I moved out of ************************************************************************, on Feb 29, 2024 and McLean deducted $300 from my $950 security deposit I made in 2021. The company/staff has failed to provide an itemized list to detail this amount in the 21 days post move out required by California law. McLean staff, particularly ******* McLean - who has been totally inept at handling this issue, said it's enough to state "Cleaning: $300" as part of an ITEMIZED list. For reference, a neighbor of mine, whose studio I would've considered to be spotless upon move-out, got $500 deducted from her security deposit, also for no verifiable reason. This company is pulling numbers out of thin air for their own greed, instead of deducting the typical (if anything) $125, and they're not providing an itemized list of where the money goes.
