My '66 Mustang was vandalized. I spoke to the first manager and he told me oh ya we contract with a painter we can get it fixed no problem and we work with the insurance. Since they were doing the paint work I asked if they could rebuild the carburetor because it was leaking fuel and redo the brakes because they were scary and check the suspension and let me know what their advice was. They started working on the car and keep telling me the painter is busy and hard to get ahold of. I kept asking to get a chance to speak with him because the scratches are so bad I really don't think it can be repaired. They would not let me talk with the painter. They sent me a quote for the other work and then sent a text to me about some other things they thought needed to be done and I replied ok we can talk about it. They just did the extra work without any type of estimate and told me I needed to pay another $1300. I finally get the quote for the paint job and submit to my insurance. He told me he would help with talking to the adjustor but they didn't even try to contact him. One day some angry lady sends me an email saying they won't work with my adjustor and I need to handle all of it and now they are charging me storage at $50 a day backdated 3 days ago. I've never spoken to her before. The old manager quit. No one is calling me, I have to keep calling to find out what is going on. I get ahold of ***, the mean lady who tells me everything that happened before she emailed me is not her problem. We end up picking the car up early because they were going to keep charging storage waiting for the check from my insurance. Apparently the belt to the alternator was not put back on properly because the car died and I had to tow it home. (This was after they replaced the new battery I had just bought from them) Which I guess was good because the brakes still don't work well and they charged me for a window regulator and I can't roll the window down anymore.
