    I reserved a storage online on Sunday July 17th on my move from ******************************* **********. The reason I chose Extraspace is because they stated I could open the account online and receive the access code and storage number so I can store my items that evening since there was access available until 10pm.

    But once I was on the screen that stated to click to complete my purchase and I would receive the access code and storage number and I clicked on the complete my order button everything changed. Now I had to go in the next day and show my ID to receive these items. I was very upset because you had given me a false promise and now I was stuck having to rent the ***** for another day which cost me more money. Had I known this I would of not proceeded with the rental.

    The next day I went into the office and the rude assistant manager checked my ID cause he claimed the reason for this inconvenience was that there was information that did not match the system and my ID. Once he looked over my ID he said oh everything matches. So why the he didn't I receive my code and storage number the day before? It has been truly frustrating because it has cost me more money, but the manager didn't care about my inconvenience.

    Then when I am in the office I noticed a big sign stating if I rent at Extra Space I get the first month free. I never received any notice of this online nor did I receive the free month. I asked the manager why I didn't receive this offer and all he said is it was there online but I can assure you I have double checked and no where online does it mentions any of this. On top of that the manager stated that since I received an online rate I would receive a fee increase in the following months. Manager claims to have spoken to me and claims he discussed this issue with me. This never happened. This company is very dishonest and *************** I am demanding I receive the first month free which is an ongoing promotion.

    I spoke with the district manager on Saturday, Aug 13th and he offered me a fair resolution. We have resolved this matter. Thank you for your assistance.
