    I hired *************************** for being my career coach when she promised in words "you can use me as much as you want for 6 months". I got laid off from my work and she said she can help me land a better one and "will be there on my side" to guide me. Firstly, she said her actual cost is $2000 but pressured me on a weekend to immediately pay her as she offered 10% discount "just for me", "just for the weekend". She shared a doc which described her services initially. But after I did the payment, she shared a different doc which listed only 1 session for consultation, 1 for resume, 1 + 3 for interviews and everything else was email/written guidance. This was not acc to the other doc or acc to her words "as much as you want for 6 months". So I asked her multiple times to tell me her timelines when she is going to work with me, what her goals are with me and what does she mean by only total of 6 sessions instead of unlimited like she mentioned. She got extremely upset - didn't give me any answer even reg timeline she said "I have a lot of other clients and you need to wait and this is holiday season and no hiring takes place now"!! Whereas she initially said that we can use this time during holidays to prep me up and get ready for interviews in Jan.She scheduled 1 session for career consultation and she was quite unfriendly during the call.Then she asked me to send her my resume. She worked on it and sent me a new version which I had to review extensively on my own and suggest changes. She sent me another version and that's about it. She brought up my kids health situation for no reason in an email. And she never got back to finalize my resume, linkedin profile or do any interview prep sessions as she said she already spent a lot of time. She disappeared after that and did not fulfill any of the 6 calls that were listed out in the agreement. It's extremely disappointing - I trusted her to help me out when I had no money by paying her a hefty amount!
