      Hello, the nature of my dispute is with Ethos *************** or ************************ I started a policy with this company in April, however the premium was taken from my checking account on May 2nd for the monthly payment of $176.08. Something with this company never sat right with me, I kept getting multiple calls from the "insurance reps" about my policy and finishing it. I informed them each time that someone had already called me and that my application was complete and the policy had started to my knowledge. I did some research online, and I find out that this business is not BBB accredited and it's the website and logins for the accounts are not easy to access. I actually spoke with someone yesterday about cancelling my policy and I was informed that I would receive an email with documentation to sign to cancel the policy. I did receive the document to cancel the policy, which I signed but my issue now is that the business has taken another payment from my account this morning for $176.08. When online when I go into my account it states that another payment won't be attempted until August 2nd, because it gives a 30 day grace ****** to pay the next premium. I've given the business a total of $528.24 already that's for 3 months. I would like my payment of the $176.08 back that was taken today if I don't get the other payments back. I had told a representative that I wanted the policy canceled. I'm also reaching out to Chase my bank this morning to stop the payment.

      I was formerly a consumer of identity theft with Ethos. I was notified through experience of a data breach and was offer identity Insurances that I want compensated.
