  Unfortunate Experience at Private Car Storage I had the unfortunate experience of encountering issues with Private Car Storage in ****** earlier this year, which has left me deeply dissatisfied with their services. In March, my vehicle was damaged while it was under their care. To my surprise, the company denied any responsibility and refused to cover the costs of the damages.Determined to resolve the matter, I took legal action by pursuing a case in small claims court. I was relieved when the judge ruled in my favor, recognizing the clear evidence of negligence on the part of Private Car Storage. However, my relief was short-lived, as the company has failed to comply with the court's order and continues to evade their obligation to compensate me for the damages.My repeated attempts to communicate with Private Car Storage, both to collect the court-ordered judgment and to negotiate a reasonable resolution, have been met with silence from their end. This lack of accountability and disregard for a legal decision is deeply concerning.I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others who may be considering using Private Car Storage in ******. It is disheartening to see a company that fails to honor its commitments and disobeys a court order, undermining the trust and confidence of its customers.Should anyone wish to obtain further details about my situation, I am more than willing to provide additional information without compromising the privacy or integrity of Private Car Storage. I possess all the necessary evidence, including the court order, to substantiate my claims.   WARNING: THIS GARAGE HAS A RAT PROBLEM! RATS CHEWED THROUGH WIRES CAUSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE! We've kept our brand new SUV with private car storage for almost a year while we settled in London. The first couple of times we came back to CA there were no issues and everything seemed smooth. During our last trip back to California, we planned on selling my brand new X7 M50i. When we picked the car up we noticed the engine sounded like a lawn mower. We decided to bring it to the BMW dealership straight away and have it checked out. They found that rats had chewed through the wires in the engine and that they would have to remove the engine in order to replace the wiring. Needless to say, we could not sell the car and the damage done was over $6500. We tried to be reasonable and ask private car storage to cover the cost of the repair only. The manager, Stephanie Mui told us that our insurance would cover it and not to worry. Well our insurance will not cover the full cost of the repair and there is a balance of $4500. Not surprisingly, Stephanie has been stringing us along as if she is willing to take responsibility for the damage. It's been 4 months and she's still telling us that she needs to "talk to the board to get approval." We've hired a lawyer and will take them to court for not only the damages done to my car but also for the all the expenses associated with our travel back and fourth to deal with this mess.
  
  Needless to say, you cannot trust private car storage with your car. There are plenty of reputable and ethical car storage facilities in the area. You can even check with your dealership for recommendations.
