    We subscribe to Dish at our home in *********, OH. We close the cabin for several months and request Dish to pause our service. They do at a cost of $5 a month. I always call when we want service restored and ask what day will cost me the least. (I have had issues every time because they give me a date and what cost will be and it is never what they quoted me!). Happened again when I called in early July. Was told service could be restored that day at just an additional $25 fee because it was a few days before the new billi g cycle. Was given a quote of $155.85no problem. Well, service was not restored, called and Dish said they would resend a signal. Still no service on tv in bedroom, though. Anyway, got a text today stating next bill is $280! Called and requested call back since they were experiencing a high volume of call and I could press 1 for a call back. Well, that didnt work and was still on hold! So tired of Dish and their flim flam ways! The minute our area gets cable, I am dumping Dish! Terrible customer service!

    I apologize for taking up your valuable time with this complaint.  I would like to withdraw it at this time.  I was finally able to get in touch with an account specialist who understood my concerns and frustration. He also walked me through the process and the issue has been resolved.  I do appreciate your services and will always rely on BBB advice.  Again, thank you for your help with my concern.
