On or about February 2025, work completed on March ****** My neighbor hired **** ******* owner of Golden Monarch Concrete ************ to replace a six foot brick wall, that separates our properties. On my side of the brick wall i have two gates attached. One gate at the driveway of my property and the other at the garage. In order to replace the brick wall the gate had to be removed and then affixed when completed. My husband spoke with the owner of the business (****). He was reassured that the gates will be hung with no problem. When the job was completed the gate at the driveway was rehung as promised however, the gate by the garage doesnt close. The wall is off line and now i cannot close the gate.I spoke with the owner of the house and was told it was not his problem. My husband spoke with **** and was told he cant help us. He didnt bother to come look. The wall is not straight and now i cannot close my gate. I dont know the solution, but im sure there is something he can do so that my gate will close properly.

On July 9th, Golden Monarch Concrete started demolition of our backyard. The scope of the work initially only included a concrete patio, redoing the sideyard and adding concrete step. demolition went well after a few issues that were addressed. approximately 4 days later the concrete was poured. After about 3 days I noticed the concrete had very dark blotchy spots. the owner *********************** assured me it will lighten up and the color will be more uniform. After 2-3 weeks passed, I contacted him again and showed him pictures of the concrete. To which he replied we can spray on a chemical that will help open the pores. I figured since he was the specialist he knew what he was doing. He sprayed the chemical which I now know as Vinegar 30% and it did help a little bit but after two treatments the finish looks terrible. It looks as if he spilled chemicals all over the concrete and etched into the concrete. During the project there was also a change order. The scope of the work included installing new irrigation lines and sprinklers, installing new 900 sq ft of sod, planting 20 five-gallon Dwarf olive trees and adding rock. At this time I'am requesting a refund of ***** dollars. This is due to an estimate of ***** to refinish the concrete to original planned look and 3000 dollars to fix the irrigation issues
