    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against OC Patrol regarding an incident that demonstrates unfair business practices and poor customer service. On May 7, 2025, I contacted OC Patrol to reschedule a permit parking appointment because my truck was still in the repair shop. The rescheduling link they provided did not work, so I immediately followed up by email to request a new time.Despite this timely communication, I received no response until the evening of May 9over 48 hours later. I was then told I would be charged a rescheduling fee. This is unfair, as I made every effort to notify them in advance and was hindered by their own technical issues and lack of response.I feel this treatment is unreasonable. I acted in good faith, yet Im being penalized for delays and failures on their end. Their policy, as applied, is not consistent with fair business practices.I respectfully request that the rescheduling fee be waived in this case. I also urge the Better Business Bureau to encourage OC Patrol to improve their customer service and online scheduling systems. Specifically, they should ensure that their rescheduling link functions properly and that customer emails are answered more promptly, especially when there are technical issues on their end.Before filing this complaint, I attempted to resolve this matter directly with OC Patrol, but their response was unsatisfactory. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I believe that your intervention can help resolve this issue fairly. I have attached copies of my email correspondence for your reference. I look forward to your assistance and a prompt resolution.

    OC Patrol's website (permitmycar.com) has the option to use either a license plate or *** number for safe listing vehicles. It was claimed that there is a disclaimer regarding using *** numbers for safe listing vehicles that I did not see. My daughter's vehicle was issued a citation on 8/29/2024 despite me safe listing the vehicle. I called their number ************ and was provided an email address to communicate with. I provided pictures of the parking pass as well as the *** number of my daughter's vehicle to prove they match via email. They refused to accommodate citing their "disclaimer" as their reason. I called back in hopes to have a verbal conversation as things can be lost in translation over written text. I was refused to be transferred or provided contact information for the person I am communicating with via email. I will spare the speculation that their "dispatcher" is the person reading the emails as she stated she was familiar with the conversation. That was what finally motivated me to write this complaint.This is not the first time they have issued malicious citations towards family members of mine despite using the license plate for safe listing in those instances. This is just the first time I am able to confront them on this behavior. As of now no citation amount has been posted and it is my hope that be redacted before one can be posted. It is clear these practices are malicious and draconian. Malicious in the sense of their misleading website using dark patterns and draconian in their policies to cite and tow despite a safelist. I have attached images of my daughter's *** and safelist confirmation code. I am offended and feel discriminated against due to the area I live in considering the stereotype that follows living in a neighborhood such as mine. I am also in fear of retaliation moving forward because I dare to stand up and complain about this matter.

    I called this company to get information as to why my vehicle was towed from the front of my house and they declined to explain how they operate, declined to provide business address, declined to transfer me to costumer service and the dispatcher decided to hang up on me after I mentioned that they have to share business address with me. I called the second time to get the phone number of the towing company they work with and asked again for their business information and declined it again. At this point I asked how they operated and base on what criteria my vehicle was towed and they just couldnt give me a straight answer. Also I communicated with my *** and I was told that the *** communicated with OC Patrol not to towed but they did anyway from the front of my house costing me time and money

    One of our tenants car was towed, it was admitted by badge #C249, and confirmed by A244. They wont provide any contact information or procedures to help us understand a fair resolution.they illegally towed their car, and admitted that it was done accidentally.

    I paid the proper fee to park in my neighborhood and they still towed my car. It's a scam and nothing more than a racketeering business. They claim to patrol for safety and all they do is tow cars, even ones that are parked legally. Trying to contact them is a run-around. They say there's no phone number to speak with anyone that can help resolve the problem and that you have to email them and then they don't respond to emails. There are also many reviews online explaining that the same exact thing has happened to others; over and over. This is not one example of a problem, this is a business that is aggressively taking advantage of people.

    OC Patrol called ******************** to perform towing illegally and Defendant ******************** towed Plaintiffs vehicle illegally. ************************* vehicle was parked in ****** community commercial zone 29 *********, ***********. The posted signage related to towing policy (attached) cited VC ***** and the rules linked to www.permitmycar.com/rules/Vantis which ***** relied on. Vehicle was towed before business hours approx. 550 a.m. on Sat. October 30, 2022. Authority per signage at location indicate 96 hours notice required per VC ***** and Vantis (weblink) indicates towing on 4th night after notice). As such, the towing and the cause which initiated the towing by OC Patrol whose dispatcher called the tow truck to perform towing was done illegaly. ***** seeks ****** full refund for expenses to release vehicle from towing company paid.

    I tried to register my moms car in our community but it said I exceed the allowed number of nights. I emailed the OC patrol and they sent me an audit of the registered cars. I told them the last one was incorrect. License plate was not entered completely and the dates are wrong. I tried to emailed them multiple times and call but no one is responding. I received no confirmation email about the registration nor reached a confirmation page in my iPhone browser. I have been trying to contact this company for days and no one is responding. I was denied to speak with a supervisor when I called their dispatch line. Employees claiming that their supervisor has no number.
