    On 2/18/25, I contacted ********* via email to cancel both of my insurance policies, E&O and Workers Comp, as I planned to renew them both with the same company at a later date. On 3/21/25, I received a bill a for non-compliance of completing the workers comp audit on a policy I had previously cancelled. The policy was cancelled a month earlier, which is when they had first sent the audit request. There was no need to complete an audit on a policy that had been cancelled. They refuse to remove the fee and just increased the fee from $133 to $200.

    I am rejecting this response because: The first attachment I received a bill on 6/30/2025 for an outstanding "Premium" charge. I have never been charged for a "Premium" amount which would be for insurance coverage. All I have received this year are bills for not completing an "Audits". Once the insurance company made it clear that I needed to complete the audit for last year (2024) to remove the charges, I had completed it within a few days and notified them as such. As for the Audit charge for this year (2025), I refused to do the audit as I had canceled the policy before the audit was due, see attached showing the audits were due by 3/3/2025, but I had canceled the policy on 2/18/2025, which was before the due date. There should be no requirement for me to do an audit for 2025, nor should I be charged a premium for this period as well.

     I also asked the agent on 5/29/2025, if I complete the audit for 2025, will they then charge me a premium for that month period of time. She said she couldn't say. So if I complete the audit for 2025, I will have acknowledged having insurance for that period of time which would give them the right to charge me a premium, which they just did in the above attached bill.  

    I still have not received anything showing the removal of the audit charges since I had completed the audit for 2024, as the agent said would be done.
