     I am rejecting this response because:

    I WAS DENIED access to my storage unit WITH STILL 15 days LEFT TO PAY..WHEN IT STATES I WILL BE DENIED ACCESS WHEN THE 15 DAYS ARE UP...I HAD 15 DAYS ON THE 24TH OF SEPTEMBER AND I TRIED TO GO TO MY SRORAGE 2 DAYS LATER AND THE WAS A DIFFERENT LOCK ON IT AND I WAS DENIED ACCESS BEFOR THE STATED DATES ON MY LETTER THEY SENT ME...if the letter is wrong then why send me false information about my storage pay dates and times....... if that aint wrong and messsd up then i dont know what is...thats bacsiclly tricking me into thinking i had time to get he money...BUT THE ***** WAS IT WAS ALREADY LOCK AND I COULDNT GET ANY OF MY STUFF OR OPEN MY STORAGE UNIT..

    When the notice was sent on 9/24/23 to the customer he was 21 days late for his payment which was due on 9/3/2023 for his rent.  After 10 days (on 9/13/23), including the day the customer was due, we sent a past due notice to pay the rent due and a fee for being late.  Then after 21 days past due (on 9/24/23), which is 7 days more than what the law allows, we sent a preliminary lien notice stating what was due at that time. The notice states that FAILURE TO PAY THE ***** DUE IN 15 DAYS WILL TERMINATE YOUR RIGHT TO USE THE STORAGE SPACE, YOU WILL BE DENIED ACCESS, AND AN OWNER'S LIEN ON ANY STORED PROPERTY WILL BE IMPOSED.   

    The law allows the facility to deny access after 15 days, however we give more time than the law requires before the customer is denied access.

    According to Business and Professions Code of CHAPTER 10. ************ Storage Facilities [***** - *****], in section ***** of the code listed above it states the following:  If any part of the rent or other charges due from an occupant remain unpaid for 14 consecutive days, an owner may terminate the right of the occupant to the use of the storage space at a self-service storage facility by sending a notice to the occupants last known address and to the alternative address specified in subdivision (b) of Section 21712

    The customer paid all of his past due rent and other charges on 10/1/23 and paid his October rent on 10/4/23.

    His account is now current with us.
