  Buyer Beware! I was looking for a car for my daughter and we spent three days with this dealership test driving and making arrangements to do this purchase. Dealer named the price in writing, $10,911 and confirmed verbally that the price was through the end of the weekend. When we sat down to do the final paperwork (on Friday) and negotiate the details, I was told that to get that price, I had to buy add-ons like anti-theft systems and nitrogen tire protection. The next day (Saturday), I reached out to offer another $1,000 to close the deal. At this point, I was told that they were "going to be closer to $18,000 with full dealer protection." And, that the $10,900 price had been changed to $14,284 "due to the market" and that they "don't have $5,000 in discounts." Dishonest. This is the kind of place that gives car sales a bad name.

  Absolutely avoid Pedder Hyundai of Poway if you're looking to sell your car. My experience with them was an utter disappointment marked by dishonesty and a complete lack of transparency.Here's how it went down:- I contacted Pedder Hyundai after seeing their advertisement for used car purchases. Following their instructions, I provided detailed information about my car, including photos and the *** number. Based on this, internet sales manager *********************** quoted me a promising price of $36,500.- After prepping my car for sale, I arrived at the dealership expecting a smooth transaction. However, things went south quickly.- Sales manager *************************** informed me they would only offer $33,*** a baffling 10% lower than the agreed-upon price.- Despite presenting *************************** online quote as proof, Pedder Hyundai refused to honor it. Their explanations were flimsy at best, resorting to fabricated stories about mistaken *** numbers (a complete lie as the correct *** was provided upfront).- It became clear that Pedder Hyundai uses bait-and-switch tactics to lure sellers in with inflated online offers, only to drastically reduce the price upon arrival.This experience was a complete waste of time and energy. Pedder Hyundai's *************************** and *********************** displayed a shocking lack of integrity and professionalism.In an attempt to salvage the situation and not completely waste my time, I even offered to compromise and accept an offer of $35,000, which was halfway between their online and in-person offer. However, ******************************* response was insulting. He essentially stated that his team's lack of integrity was only worth a few hundred dollars.Here's my advice:Stay away from Pedder Hyundai of Poway! Their deceptive practices are unacceptable.

  Zero stars.Shady sales practices, untruthful service approvals, customer service is not present in this location, rude and disrespectful treatment of clients. Go somewhere else.If you do decide to buy here, make sure you:1. Have an independent mechanic check the car top to bottom.2. Be willing to walk away.3. The ticket price is not the sale price. Car security system, nitro in tires, and other items will be added even if you don't want them.Best advice: don't go here. It will not be a good experience.

  Concur with the other reviewers. This dealership uses extensive bait and switch tactics with add one that are not in their advertised prices and arent negotiable. They should lose their BBB accreditation over current sales practices.
