I went through the interview process for a job here, and it seemed like a scam. I didn't do a final interview because of my skepticism. The position was intern-to-hire and involved a contract of what seemed like indentured servitude. It would've involve 12 weeks of full time training. I would be paid minimum wage at this time. After that, I would owe them ***** billable hours. If I left before the contract ended, I would've owed the company $1,500 per billable months that I didnt fulfill. When I asked recruiter ******************************, he said this policy is in place to protect against people getting the training and then skipping out on working for them. This conveyed to me that the company doesn't trust their employees. The generous pay made me wonder what conditions there were that made people quit early. An even sketchier part is that I needed a co-signer. From my understanding, if I skipped out on the contract and didn't pay them back, the co-signer would be on the hook for paying off what I owed. While this may be a legitimate business, there were too many red flags (I only listed my two biggest ones) for me to move forward. Applicants proceed with caution.
