      This is the 6th. property I have bought and or sold in the last 6 years so I have worked with multiple title companies with no issues. Cal-Sierra Title Company is a small country company that is not seem to be able to handle issues, small problems that they create for their customers.I ordered and paid for the septic pumping and inspection on the 15 th of June,2023. I called *************************** Company and told their help ******************************* I had paid $670for the service from Plumas Sanitation myself and not to include in my closing costs. My wife emailed Cal-****** a copy of the paid receipt on the 15 th of June. We closed the 22nd. Of June,2023 with the $ 670 on my closing fees. I called Cal-****** ******************** and told them they still included the septic fees on my closing costs after multiple calls and proof of payment well ahead of closing. ******************************* told me not surprising something stupid. Cal -****** ***** send a check for the $ 670 I already paid with proof they had on file to Plumas Sanitation and when they returned it to Cal-******, they ***** forward us a check. I then called and spoke to the owner of Cal-****** ******************** *** who assured me it ***** get out that day. After a week my wife called Cal-****** ******************** and either **************** or ***************************** the company VP stated they were probably too busy to issue the $ 670 and we should have it by last Friday. Must have been to much of a work load for this country company. We still have not received our $ 670 and today is the 10 th of July 2023 ! I ***** suggest avoiding this company if at all possible if you want a smooth routine escrow.
