    Sacramento County *************** had my Diesel work truck towed from the front of my house on 3/28/24 for expired registration. The tow company that contracts with the ******************** is trying to steal my truck. Yesterday I paid all of the fees to get my truck released by the ************* & pick up my truck, the employees told me that they sold my truck. I haven't received any notification regarding any kind of liens being placed on my vehicle. Yesterday I had no problem paying all DMV's fees and obtaining all documents needed to get my truck out. I wasn't there when it was towed (Thursday), I was having surgery in Folsom & didn't return home until the following night (Friday) at 9 pm. My neighbor's vehicle was also towed but they got it out the same day. No one from the tow yard or ************* left any material or notes telling me where my truck was. My neighbors were out when the vehicles were being taken therefore was able to obtain their information. I called the tow yard on Saturday and advised them that I was going to be getting it out. I spoke to dispatch on April 29, ******************************************************************************************* I have and email thread asking a timeline to get everything done and they said the sooner the better. So imagine my surprise when I pay everything to get my truck, I was told that my truck was sold. I had them write me something saying that so I can take it to DMV and get my $ back but I have not received any notice, phone call, or mail, nothing regarding my truck's whereabouts or any legal actions being taken on my vehicle. The tow yard was unable to provide me or the ******************** any documentation of them going putting a lien and taking my truck. I just want my truck to be returned. They are illegally stealing my truck and all the department tells me is to take it to civil court. I need help.

    10/11/2022 I paid ***** dollars ****** dollars more than I was told I would have to pay. TERRIBLE! My car got towed off the street for registration it took me 28 days to get the money to pay the registration and get enough money for the tow. I spoke to people at the company on 3 different occasions and each time I was told the fee per day was 60 dollars. The day I was going to get my car a man in the office added everything up and told me the price. We went there to pay and get my car at which point the guy I spoke with in the office called the owner on the phone and told him I was there to pick up my car at that point he told him to charge me 66 dollars a day I heard this because it was on speaker phone so Informed him that I was told 60 dollars a day and quote a final price for everything, he then said very rudely that he didn't car and I either pay the 66 dollars a day or I don't get my car. The office guy also told him that he already told me a price and he said so it doesn't matter. I was also given a paper that shows he made the price change that day. On top of all that I get my car home and I have several items missing from my car and they put a crack in my front bumper and chocolate melted on my front carpet mat. The name I was given for the owner is ************** The guy that quoted me the price of ******* wrote his home number it is ************. He didnt want to say much
