    I had brought my pickup truck to him in mid January. The reason I brought it to reliable smog is for emissions equipment repair. My check engine light had been on for the last 6 months and I hadn't been able to repair it myself. He stated he knew what the issue was and would fix it for 400 dollars. I accepted. It was done at the end the day. I meet him at his shop and he told me he needed a ride to the tire shop. He drove my vehicle as a 'test drive' over to the tire shop. He was driving extremely rough on the vehicle, expecally with the transmission. I was very upset seeing how rough he was treating my vehicle. Revving the engine high and letting the clutch slip. I asked him to take it easy but was dismissed. He gives me the keys at the tire shop and I went home. Next day I start to leave for work and notice a grinding sound coming under my vehicle. I had to take three days off work to pull the transmission from the truck and inspect. My clutch had been burned and damaged the flywheel as well. 500 dollars in parts I had the truck operating again. I returned to reliable smog to inform him not only was my check engine light coming back on but he had blown my clutch. He offered to fix the check engine light for free which I thought was very suspicious. He smiled when I told him about the clutch and kept talking about the check engine light. At this point I was upset I was concerned about the damage he did to my vehicle. He didn't offer any compensation for the clutch and argued with me. He took my receipt and I haven't gotten a call from him since.

    In 10/11/2023, I took my vehicle to Alliance *********** fo starting issues. In November 2023, after paying $1746.00, I picked my vehicle up still having same problems. On 12/09/2024 I took my vehicle back to Alliance ************* It's been 6 Months and I'm and my vehicle hasn't been returned to me. If there's anything the Better Business Bureau can do to assist me in getting my vehicle repaired and returned to me would be greatly appreciated. This is my second complaint on Alliance *********** regarding initial repairs dated, October 11, 2023. Respectfully *****************************. ************

    On 03/16/2024 I visited this establishment to obtain a smog certificate needed for my car registration. I previously called and was told with the coupon, the fee was $21.75 plus $8.25 for the certificate. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very dirty, grubby man who asked me for my paperwork. The establishment itself was disgustingly dirty and a health risk. When he completed the test, I was informed he forgot to add $5 for Hazardous or other waste material. I was extremely anxious to get out of there so I paid $35.00. I got home and my son stated there is ho reason to charge me the $5 unless it was an oil or fluid change done. I had a smog inspection done. The receipt was stamped AFTER I paid him the $35. Then he pestered me to give him a good review. I am requesting a refund because of his dishonesty as well as the condition of the place of business is hazardous in itself. He took advantage of me because I am a minority woman whom he thought would not know any better. I am also filing a complaint with the ****** of ********** Repair due to the condition of the shop
