We purchased two vending machines two weeks ago(07/12/2023). The beverage machine works fine; however, the snack machine has a stuck problem , which caused our customer can’t get the snake after paid, we are losing lot of business. We contacted the store owner, who told us that the supposed three-month warranty does not include on-site service unless we transport the machine to their store for repairs. After some negotiation, they gave us a repairman's phone number for on-site repairs but at an additional cost. Isn't their three-month warranty service just lip service then? When we were about to return the machine, Vending World offered to send a friend named **** for a free repair, which we agreed to. **** initially said he would come last Friday morning, but then changed to Monday afternoon, and then Tuesday after confirming via phone call... I had another conversation with the store owner, ask to return the product if the issue wasn't resolved. But they rudely told me that the machine can't be returned! We only used this machine for a mere three weeks, and it's not a quality product, why can't we return it? Before we immigrated to the United States, everyone told us it was a society of integrity, and indeed it was! Until we had a dispute with this store! Everyone, please look at the text and the screenshots, we didn't slander, everything is true.

    The Better Business Bureau
    Regarding customer that filed a
    complaint

    Mr. *** came into our
building and bought two vending machines in July of 2023.
    About one week later he
came back and mentioned a small issue with the drop box on the snack
    machine.
We told him it was an
easy fix and how to fix it. He said it didn't matter because the
snack machine didn't make enough money and he wanted to trade it in
for another drink machine. At first we told him we couldn't do that
as once it goes on location it is no longer a refurbished machine. He
told us it only made 24 dollars and was still in the condition he
bought it. Based on that information we agreed to take it back in
exchange for another drink machine. He said fine and that he would
send his truck the next day to exchange it.

The next day he said he
had changed his mind and just wanted his money back. We told him we
don't accept returns and that all sales are final based on the
invoice he signed and it states that on our website. He then
proceeded to say that the machine still had a problem and demanded
we send someone to fix it. We told him we have a 90 days parts
warranty and that we do not have repair people. He then demanded that
we send someone or he would return the machine. We were able to hire
a friend of mine that is in the vending business and does repairs at
no charge to him to go there and perform a repair. He was supposed to
be there Friday but ran into time issues so on Monday Mr *** demanded
that someone come that day or he would return the machine. I told him
about the delay and that we don't respond well to threats. My friend
called him and made an appointment for Tuesday which he kept and made
    the minor repair.

After the repair was made here is what
he texted my friend “My partner told me it is fixed by you, I
really appreciate! Thank you and hope you have a great day”

Here is the wording from our website
and on the invoice the customer signed:

    ALL
    SALES FINAL: Vending
World sells used and refurbished machines (not new and are not
represented to be in like new condition) and most items have to be
shipped via freight companies. Make sure you purchase the correct
items to meet your individual needs. By using this site you the
customer agrees that you have read and understand the description of
all equipment and that if items are purchased from this site all
sales are final and no refunds will be given for any reason. There is
no 'Cooling off period' for buyers remorse or warranty issues. Should
you have a warranty issue it will be taken care of under the terms of
    our warranty page.

    WARRANTY
    INFORMATION: “Limited
Parts Warranty”: this indicates that the warranty provided does not
extend to every possible situation. There are situations that are
excluded; therefore the warranty is “limited” rather than
“unlimited”. No dealers we know of offer an “unlimited”
warranty, because there are so many situations outside of its
control. All warranty items must be sent to Vending World by UPS
(parts only not the entire machine) or other means at the customers
own expense. Warranty is valid in lower 48 states. Warranty for
Alaska, Hawaii, and all other countries is modified as follows: All
warranty items must be returned at the customers own expense and
replacement items must have freight, shipping or USPS charges paid by
customer. The machines on this site and large, heavy items and due to
the cost of shipping we do not accept returns or make refunds on
items. Due to the cost of shipping we only send all warranty parts by
USPS ground. Should the customer require faster service on warranty
parts then the additional shipping cost would have to be paid at the
customers expense. All sales are final.
    WE
DO NOT COVER LABOR CHARGES, IF YOU REQUIRE A TECHNICIAN AT YOUR HOME
OR BUSINESS, YOU MUST PAY FOR IT. WE SEND VENDING MACHINES ALL OVER
THE WORLD SO WE NEVER SEND REPAIR PEOPLE TO YOUR LOCATION, WE ONLY
    OFFER A PARTS WARRANTY ONLY.

    According
to my friend that went to the customers account it does not justify a
snack machine being there due to the low income workers working
there. This is clearly a 'sour grapes' issue with the buyer since the
snack machine is not earning as much money as he expected.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Re: Withdrawal of Complaint against Vending World

I hereby address you on behalf of my client, represented by the signature “***”, regarding the complaint filed against Vending World.

First and foremost, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Better Business Bureau and its dedicated team for the significant role you have played in mediating this dispute. Your professionalism and commitment to resolving business conflicts do not go unnoticed.

I would like to formally inform you that Vending World, in response to our grievance, dispatched their maintenance personnel on August 16th for the purpose of overhauling the machine in question. Upon diligent inspection by my client's partner, it has been ascertained that the machine is now in optimal working condition. In light of these corrective measures, I have chosen to withdraw the complaint against Vending World.

For the sake of transparency, it is pertinent to mention that Mr. *****, the designated representative from Vending World, made a private overture to me. He solicited our initiative to retract the report filed with Better Business Bureau. Given the company’s proactive response and remedial action in sending their maintenance team, we deemed it appropriate to proceed with the withdrawal of said complaint. Further, I have made a private entreaty to Mr. *****, seeking Vending World's explicit clarification on Better Business Bureau about the undertaken repairs, affirming the machine's restored functionality.

Our decision to withdraw the complaint is rooted in the belief that the actions taken by both parties have led to a satisfactory resolution. It is in no way influenced by external pressures, and we believe it reflects the true state of affairs.

In closing, we once again express our appreciation to the Better Business Bureau for your invaluable assistance in bringing this matter to a fruitful conclusion.

    Yours sincerely,

    ***
