I am writing to formally request a chargeback for a transaction involving a marketing program I purchased on June 29, 2024. I have been misled during a vulnerable time. When I enrolled in this program, I was promised qualified ******** leads within a week. However, I did not receive any leads for two months, and to date, I have only received about 5 or 6 names and email addresseslacking the necessary qualifying information to engage potential clients for selling annuities.I initially paid over $6,000 for what was advertised as customized websites. These turned out to be pre-built templates with my picture and contact information, offering no unique value. After falling behind on the last three payments, the provider cut off most functionality of these websites, effectively rendering my investment worthless.Furthermore, after I insisted on having a written agreement two months later, the document I received was misleading and unsigned, raising suspicions. It incorrectly stated that I paid a $2,000 down payment and agreed to five additional monthly payments of $899. In reality, I paid $6,000 down and an additional $2,796 for services that were never delivered. This amounts to a total of $13,291 for nothing more than pre-made templates.I disclosed my severe financial hardships to the provider, and instead of helping me, they took advantage of my vulnerability. How could I pay over $13,000 and receive nothing more than generic websites without the promised leads?Enclosed is the text that promised leads within one week of purchasing this misleading program, along with the false agreement. This failure to deliver on the promised services represents a significant deviation from what was advertised and has caused me substantial financial loss.I trust you understand the importance of consumer protection against misleading sales tactics. I kindly request your assistance in reversing this transaction and refunding my money.

    Business Response

In my 40+ years as a merchant, this is the most egregious case of blatant falsehoods I have ever encountered. Fortunately, I have complete documentation with time and date stamps to support our position. We time and date stamp every interaction we have with every client regardless of whether that was a phone call, text, or email.

On June 30, 2024, this individual attended an online webinar and called our office after watching the webinar to purchase two custom websites. He paid in full by putting $4,000 on his credit card. He provided us with everything needed to build out his customized websites. We delivered both websites on July 5, 2024.

On July 1, 2024, this individual viewed another webinar and called in to purchase a third custom website. Since he had just paid $4,000 the previous day, he took advantage of our easy monthly payment program for this website. The total amount for this new purchase was $6, 495. He did not pay in full. Instead, he put $2,000 down and agreed to make 5 monthly payments of $899. We delivered this custom website just four days later on July 5, 2024.

On July 26, this individual made the first of 5 monthly payments of $899 per the agreement.

On Aug 21, 2024, this individual purchased a one-month ******** Ad campaign for $1,796. His FB Ads started running shortly thereafter and have continued running for the entire month that he purchased.

This individual's 2nd scheduled payment was due on Aug 26, 2024. This individual's credit card declined for his 2nd scheduled payment of $899. This individual said he has no money and can't live up to his agreement and make any further payments. He shared that his monthly overhead is over $****** per month and was having to borrow money each month to survive. He also admitted he was desperate to make sales, even though this individual's websites had already been up for nearly 2 months at this point, and by his own admission he hadn't used them.

After his credit card declined and he said he had no money and couldn't make any further payments, I explained to this individual that if a client can't meet their financial obligations for the products purchased that their website would be taken down until he was current with his payments. Once he was current, his website would be brought back up. I even put all of this in writing, and sent this written agreement to this individual. He signed this agreement acknowledging that he made a $2,000 down payment, and 1 of 5 monthly payments in the amount of $899. He acknowledge that had no money and couldn't make any further payments. He further acknowledged that he understands that this website will be taken down until he is current with his payments. I emailed this agreement to this individual and he signed and returned it on Aug 29, 2024. It's no different than someone buying a car and not making the monthly payments. They repossess your car for lack of payment. It's no different with a digital product like a website. We stand ready to bring his website back up once he makes the delinquent payments. In reading his response, it sounds like he would like us to work without payment to help him out. Tell me one business that could stay in business without payment. It doesn't work that way. We have honored and delivered everything this individual purchased.

Upon receiving the signed agreement, the one website was taken down. The other two websites he paid in full are still active to this day. This individual has not make any further payments, so the one website remains down.

I'd like to make some general comments to address points mentioned in his statement to the BBB. First, to  say that he was mislead and didn't know what he was purchasing is false. He watched three webinars to see the exact same websites he ended up purchasing. He called in to us to purchase. After he provided us with his photo, contact info, and disclosures to build his website, we first sent him artwork proofs for him to review and approve. These proofs showed every page on the custom websites he purchased. These proofs for all three websites were emailed to him on July 2, 2024. He reviewed each proof and approved each website on July 3, 2024 by emailing his project manager (3) signed approval letters, one for each website. We built the same exact websites he saw in the webinar and approved in the proofs. To say he was mislead is a complete falsehood.

He said he did not receive any leads for two months. By his own admission he
hadnt used any of the three websites delivered since he purchased them. Two
months later he paid to start running ******** Ads and those started generating
    leads by his own admission.

To say these three websites are just templated websites is completely false. We
built and customized each of the three websites with the personal information
this individual provided to us. Keep in mind, this individual saw what the
complete websites he purchased looked like in the webinar. Then he went to our
DEMO website and played around on each of the three websites even further
being able to judge whether this was something he wanted to purchase. We
didnt call him, he called us after viewing the webinar and playing around on the
DEMO websites before calling us to order. He further reviewed each of the three
website artwork proofs before signing off and approving them, authorizing us to
move forward and build them. Even after he received these three websites, he
never made one comment about them not being what he expected or what he
    purchased. Not one!

This individual is using websites we have customized for over ****** individuals.
They have great success in using our product, but if you let them sit on the shelf,
do no marketing, and let them collect dust, it probably isnt going to work. By this
individuals own admission he did absolutely nothing. Long after the websites
were delivered this individual said he was upside down financially and desperate.
Ive been doing this for 44 years, and I can tell you DESPERATION is generally not
    an effective marketing strategy.

In this individuals claim, I have no idea where he gets his numbers of over $13,000
and I dont think he even knows either. The numbers I have shared in this
document are based on actual credit card charges. They are the facts.

This individual even agreed in his complaint that he was behind in his payments.

Im proud of the work we do. Ive been doing it for 44 years and we love working
