      We filed our taxes with **** for the 4th year in a row on March 27, 2023. He charged $526.00 which we paid in cash but we did receive a receipt. We did not get our refund as indicated so we reached out to **** in April multiple times with little to no response. We checked the *** website and could not find any record of our taxes being submitted. We continued to call, email, and text without any response throughout the months of April and May. Because of his continued absence, we ended up filing our taxes with a CPA who informed us that he had not filed one of our W4s which when they did, it bumped us into a higher tax bracket causing us to owe. Since we owed and were late submitting our taxes, we had to pay the late fine on top of owing. I reached out to **** via text in July and he actually responded. He was unaware of my issue and informed me that he was out of the country for the last 2 months. I attempted to seek a refund of the cost of his services since he did not complete them but it has been an ongoing battle with little to no response again. I am seeking a refund for his services of $526 and plus the late fee ($50) that was charged since we had to submit our taxes late.
