    Better Business Bureau:

    I did indeed finally receive my overpayment refund. I would like to respond to the business's assertion they processed my refund in timely fashion. They state they mailed my check Aug 18th (indeed the check was dated Aug 18th) however I still have the envelope showing it was mailed on Thursday Sept 1st. In short this company is holding clients over-payment monies for months. My procedure May 18th, refund check received Sept. 6th (nearly 4mo.) I would like to warn others regarding this business and their shady practices.

    o her again, she said she approved the refund on Tuesday Aug 2nd and a check should go out Thursday Aug 4th. I reached out again Aug 15th and asked for the status of my refund. I also explained that my FSA card had been disabled until repayment of the overpaid funds is taken care of. She expressed dismay in their billing company. She got back to me later and said she would process a check and have it overnighted to me. I reached out again Aug 22nd asking for the whereabouts of the refund. ****** said she'll look into it. I feel like it borders on criminal for a provider to hold on to overpaid funds and not return them in a timely manner. After bringing this to their attention, I am still waiting for my refund. Procedure was 5/18, Anthem paid 5/31 and today's date if 9/1 3 1/2 months. I would like this company fined if they've broken any ********** Laws. I'd also like to seek damages for each day they've held my money (not considered reasonable for processing) Thank you

    Please see evidence attached of a refund check issued to ********************** on August 18, 2022, which was cashed by his financial institution on September 8, 2022.

    Our organization wants to ensure the BBB and our customers that we process refunds in a timely manner and upon discovery that the complainants insurance coverage issued payment above what was expected a refund was processed for ****************** and we can demonstrate he received the funds.
